They gave her three months left on this cruel world all the way back in March and Valerie Harper told those doctors to shut up and call her agent!
Harper is now the latest celebrity that will be hoofin’ it up in the next season of Dancing With The Stars.
Valerie, 74, who is famous for portraying the side kick Rhoda on ‘The Mary Tyler Moore Show, was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer, months ago. Leptomeningeal carcinomatosis attacks the membrane surrounding the brain. Doctors gave her until June to live, but she’s feeling better than ever before and so decided to prove it by doing the show. She will be paired with Tristan McManus.
Now let’s all watch the show and ensure that she fares better than the other stars competing this season: Snooki, Elizabeth Berkley (‘Showgirls‘), Amber Riley (‘Glee‘), and Christina Milian.
