Ever wonder why Sean Combs nicknamed himself P. Diddy? Well I have a sneaking suspicion that the guy’s pee pee pants problem was highly influential. See when Diddy was a little younger he had a bedwetting problem. Yep, he fully soaked his drawers and his bed sheets when he was a younger dude.
And who cares about it now that he has swagger and millions of dolla dolla bills to roll around in if he so chooses, right?
And yes, he admitted so on the Ellen Degeneres Show after a little discussion about his new gig as the face of AQUAhydrate.
“One thing I want to say is, I grew up as a Kool-Aid kid. I never drank water,” Diddy told DeGeneres. “I used to pour a half a pound of sugar into the Kool-Aid. Besides it having me bouncing off the walls, I used to be a bed wetter.”
He went onto admit, “I guess I’m confessing that I used to be a bed wetter,” he explained. “So I went on this quest to stop wetting the bed, and the first day I had a sleepover and I didn’t wet the bed, it was, like, one of the greatest days of my life. It gave me the swagger that I have today because I stopped wetting the bed.”
See, taking a negative and turning it into a positive?! That’s how it works, people. I just hope he still isn’t wetting his bed. Can you imagine?
This P. Diddy nickname sure does make a whole lot of sense now.
