The Michael Jackson The Immortal world premiere went down in Vegas over the weekend and it brought out not only the Jackson family (yes, even Michael’s three children attended and Mama Katherine, who had a big fat smile on her face), but a slew of big name celebrities. FYI: The show will continue to play there until December 14th so you still have time to head over to the Mandalay Bay Resort to check it out.
I have a feeling the Jackson family was finally able to enjoy themselves after the stressful couple of months they endured with the Conrad Murray trial and all. Ya think?
A riveting fusion of visuals, dance, music and fantasy that immerses audiences in Michael’s creative world and literally turns his signature moves upside down, Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL World Tour unfolds Michael Jackson’s artistry before the eyes of the audience. Aimed at lifelong fans as well as those experiencing Michael’s creative genius for the first time, the show captures the essence, soul and inspiration of the King of Pop, celebrating a legacy that continues to transcend generations.
Celebrities spotted on the red carpet included: James Gandolfini, Taye Diggs, Justin Long, Babyface, Mike McCready (Pearl Jam), John Landis (Director “Thriller” and “Black and White” Music Videos), Berry Gordy (Producer, Founder of Motown Records), Allison Janney, Mark Salling (Glee), Kevin McHale (Glee), Harry Shum Jr. (Glee), Rashida Jones (Parks and Recreation), Aubrey Plaza (Parks and Recreation), Orlando Jones (Seconds Apart), Rex Lee (Entourage), Robert Buckley (One Tree Hill), Jason Kennedy (E! Of the premiere Michael’s brother Tito said, “I’m very excited. At the same time, I’m touched. There’s a little thing going on in there (points to heart), you know, for the brother thing. My brother – I don’t know if people know this about Michael, but my brother actually lived and loved what he did.”
