Lindsay Lohan probation violation hearing
It’s beginning to look like Lindsay Lohan will be leaving the Betty Ford Center and heading back to jail as soon as Friday. Judge Elden Fox doesn’t seem all that interested in meeting with Lilo’s lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, and the hearing for her most recent probation violation will be held, as planned, in Beverly Hills on Friday.
So why does the judge’s refusal to meet with Holley spell trouble for Linds?
Apparently, Holley has been trying to get a meeting with the judge in regards to the hearing for a while, and according to RadarOnline the judge is not simply avoiding her- he’s flat out denying all requests to meet in chambers. Holley has even resorted to contacting the D.A., but so far all attempts have been in vain and the hearing is scheduled as planned.
A source tells Radar, “Judge Marsha Revel agreed to meet routinely in the past with both sides, it’s very common. But Judge Fox’s refusal to meet with Lindsay’s attorney is a very bad sign for the actress.”
Unfortunately for Lindsay, Judge Revel is no longer in charge and Judge Fox doesn’t play. After all, he was the one that ordered Lohan back to jail without bail after she failed a court-ordered drug test last month.
Holley has complained about the judge’s denial of bail, winning a reprieve appeal resulting in LA County Superior Court Judge Patricia M. Schnegg set bail at $300,000.
While Lindsay’s counselors at the Betty Ford Center have given Judge Fox a detailed report recommending that Lilo stay in rehab longer than 30 days, there is really no way of knowing if it matters. Rest assured Lilo will comply with whatever the judge rules.
What do ya’ll think- is Linds headed back to jail on Friday?
