Kim Richards to quit Real Housewives of Beverly Hills?

Word on the street is that Kim Richards is ready to get back to work after rehab, but apparently her friends and family are telling her that she needs to quit the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills!

Radaronline.com reported that

Bravo forced Kim into treatment because after Russell Armstrong’s tragic and unexpected suicide they “wanted to make sure nothing bad happens to anyone on their shows.”

And that is totally understandable. Why would Bravo want to be responsible for a bunch of basket cases who could go off the deep end?

A source told Radar that Kim

“hoped it would be a platform to resurrect her career but that has just not been the case, she comes off as an unstable train wreck,” the source said about Paris Hilton’s aunt, who was a child movie star but hasn’t worked in Hollywood in years. Even though it is her only source of income it just isn’t something they want her to do. Her family is willing to keep supporting financially no matter what. Kim was hoping it would be a good business move to be on the show, but has not received any lucrative offers like the other women.”

I definitely think that going right back to the show isn’t so wise. Fresh out of rehab and thrown back into drama? I have a hard time believing that Kim would be able to handle it all, especially with her fragile personality.

In fact, why doesn’t Bravo just tell Kim, Kyle and Taylor to put in their resignations?
