The divorce between Camille Donatucci and Kelsey Grammer was ugly before, but now they’re dragging the kids into it! Kelsey is fighting for sole legal custody of their two children, and filed the legal docs today in L.A. County Superior Court.
Sources say Kelsey and Camille Grammer (of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills) have been at war over the kids. TMZ revealed the children–Mason, 9 and Jude, 6– have been having emotional difficulty dealing with Kelsey walking out and divorcing their mom and living with the Frasier star would provide a more stable environment.
Back in February, after his quickie divorce was settled and even quicker marriage to fourth wife, Kayte Walsh was finalized, Camille was quoted saying “I have a great many mixed feelings about (it) — I’m sad for what was, yet excited about the road ahead.” She adds, “What I most hope is that Kelsey and I can improve our communications and truly co-parent our two wonderful children, and I wish Kelsey and Kayte love and happiness in their new marriage.”
Kelsey is asking for joint legal but sole physical custody, but it’s not clear where he wants the kids to live. Kelsey is currently in Chicago and the kids are in school in L.A.
Sources close to Camille are scoffing at Kelsey’s move, saying she’s been a full-time mother and he has been nothing but uncooperative in trying to work out a custody agreement. She was willing to give him 50/50 custody, but now all bets are off.
