Ja’Nel Witt, the winner of season 11 of Hell’s Kitchen, featuring celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay will have to turn to its runner up to fill that coveted position at his restaurant in Las Vegas. Witt had to submit to a drug policy for the job and once the results came back, Witt failed, testing positive for cocaine. The results effectively ended her chance to become the head chef and Caesar’s Palace sent her packing. The only consolation is that Ja’Nel will still receive her quart of a million dollar salary without having to cook one single meal there.
Before the truth came out, Witt had made an announcement about her fate via Twitter:
“Due to personal matters, I will not be joining the team in Las Vegas, but I wish them continued success. I would like to express my sincerest thanks to Hell’s Kitchen, Gordon Ramsay, Caesars Palace & my supportive fans for this amazing experience.”
A quarter of a million dollars can get you plenty of blow. Let’s hope she doesn’t come into contact with Lindsay Lohan any time soon. And she also might want to ask Lamar Odom where he went to rehab and get some damn help!
