Celebrity Apprentice Winner 2010
It was down to Holly Robinson Peete and her fight for autism and Bret Michaels and his battle with diabetes. So just who was the stronger player to take on the role as Donald Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice?
Bret Michaels, you may now throw a fist in the air and start pumping. It was a bittersweet moment for Bret Michaels as he took home the Celebrity Apprentice title last night live on national television. (Let’s all join hands, lift up our lighters in the air and start singing, “Every Rose Has Its Thorn” and listen to what Bret has to say about his win.)
After winning, Bret said, “I’m feeling a little beat up, but I feel great. I’m just glad to be here, and I’m really glad that I won — and you have no idea — inside my soul — how bad I want to throw down and party right now! I want to have a Rock of Love style party right at this moment, but I think I’m just going to hang with my friends and be a little low-key unfortunately for a couple more weeks.”
So sure he almost died after suffering a brain hemorrhage, but Bret wants to get his ass and his weave back on the road, despite what his doctors are saying.
He said, “My energy is so up right now… I just want to go rock right now.” He adds, [Doctors] don’t want me to go at all right now, at least for a couple of weeks to a month, but I want to go this weekend! And we’re going to see what happens.”
So what was going through Bret’s mind as Donald was giving his final evaluations? Bret said, “[Donald Trump] was like ‘You’re…’ and I heard the syllable for fired and I was like ‘this can’t be happening’… so I thought this was the sympathy way of getting rid of me and I was like, ‘Oh man, you’re going to dump me!’ And I just kept thinking, ‘Don’t let me down like a bad date!’”
So what did Bret win? He earned a big fat $250,000 donation to his charity of choice, the American Diabetes Foundation and was “hired” by Donald Trump.
So did Bret win because he almost died, because he has a better weave than the Don or do you think this was a legit win for the rocker?
