Khloe Kardashian graces the cover of Cosmopolitan UK’s February 2014 issue and let me just say that in the interview Khloe says a lot and I mean A LOT. She’s officially filed for divorce and you can bet your booty that Khloe is going to be happy when 2013 is over.
She was quoted as saying, “I love the new year, new beginnings. I need a good fresh start; I’m excited for this year to be over with… You only live once so let’s make that one time perfect. We can’t fix our mistakes and imperfections, so let’s have fun. You get what you give out in life.”
As for regrets, “I don’t regret anything about my life. My life has made me who I am at this moment and I’m very happy with who I am. No matter if it’s great, disgusting, beautiful or ugly; it happens and it makes you you. Life is about how you process things.”
And in case you thought that she has dropped a few pounds it wasn’t just because she had an awful breakup. She explained, “In the past year I think I’ve lost around 30lbs, and I’m feeling good… I’ve worked very hard on my body so I think now I can sex it up a little! My 2014 mission is to wear a crop top with jeans. I’ve never done that so it has to happen one day.”
And sometimes she forgets the cameras are on…“I never take myself seriously. When I joke about my camel toe or my big vagina on TV, I don’t realize how many people are watching! I’m with my sisters and we’re the same off camera – that’s how sisters are. Then I go out and someone will say, ‘Oh, my god I have a big vagina too!’ I’m like, ‘WHAT?’ That’s when I can’t believe I said that out loud. But I love to be silly and make people laugh. It’s a compliment, and liberating to think my sisters and I might make other women feel OK about talking about this stuff too.”
If you are hot to trot and she sees you have something good going on, she’s going to let you know. “Women can be quick to attack each other, when we should be building each other up. There are enough people out there who’ll put you down. We should be each other’s biggest cheerleaders. I’m not happy with my arms, so if I see a girl with great arms I compliment her. It doesn’t make me hate her; it motivates me to lift more weights”, Khloe said.
And this has to be the most disturbing quote of all. Her own mother said she needed a nose job…at the age of NINE! “Words are the most powerful weapon; they can leave scars forever. She didn’t mean harm, but when I was around nine I overheard my mom telling her friend I needed a nose job. I was shocked; I hadn’t even thought about it. I’ve grown into my face but I’ve had makeup artists tell me, ‘You should get a nose job.’ I’m so happy that I never have….”
Although her millionaire dad Robert died of cancer in 2003, his memory is still a big part of Khloe’s life. “It’s strange to say but I do think my family is closer because of what happened. We want to keep his memory alive, make him proud, and that makes us work harder. If he were here, we might be a little more lazy because we’d have the luxury to be that way. I still have his Ralph Lauren button-up shirt hanging in my closet, and I have this monkey that was his when he was a boy.”
Khloe is the only Kardashian I can barely stand at this point. She actually seems like the most normal, less fame hungry of them all. I really hope the best for her!
