Celebrity Gossip Heard All Over The Web

Jennifer Hudson Spices Things Up in “I Can’t Describe” Music Video!

Jennifer Hudson has officially released her music video for her newest single, “I Can’t Describe (The Way I Feel)!” The song, which features rapper T.I., has become quite a hit for her!

This is definitely Jennifer’s sexiest video yet! In the video, she confidently flaunts her body and really struts her stuff, and kills it (Weight Watchers has helped her lose the weight and keep it off!). I’m liking her pixie cut more and more too! Check out “I Can’t Describe” below!

“I Can’t Describe” is the precursor to her third album, which is supposedly coming out some time in the spring. “Some of the songs have a nice old school swag to them, but I think people will be very pleasantly surprised with this album ’cause it’s about the mood and the groove and real music,” she told Yahoo! Music of her new project. Jennifer has been in the studio with TimbalandPharrell, and R. Kelly, so it should be a good album!

Jessie J Sued For Copyright Infringement for “Domino”

Jessie J is in TROUBLE! Will Loomis, lead singer for the band Loomis & the Lust, is suing the singer for copyright infringement, accusing her of illegally using the band’s song “Bright Red Chords” for her top 10 hit, “Domino.”

The suit was filed on June 25 in a federal court in California. Will’s lawyers claim “Bright Red Chords” is the band’s “most popular” song, which Will wrote and then registered with the U.S. Copyright office on Oct. 10, 2008. The suit alleges that Jessie J and a team of songwriters in August 2011 contained “substantially similar compositional elements” from his song for their single, “Domino,” featured on her new album Who You Are, which infringed on the musician’s copyright and causing “irreparable injury.”

“The arrangements are virtually identical,” said Will’s lawyer, Chris Arledge. Will is seeking $150,000 in statutory damages on behalf of his client. A rep for Jesse J could not be reached for comment.

Will recently uploaded a YouTube video comparing “Domino” and “Bright Red Chords,” but it was later blocked on copyright grounds by Universal Music Group, which is listed as a defendant in the complaint along with Lava Records and Universal Republic Records.

“If Jessie J and the record labels have an explanation other than infringement, we’d love to hear it,” noted Arledge, who added “links exist” between Will and Jessie that may have led to the infringement, though he declined to divulge them citing pending litigation.

Will has now re-posted a new clip comparing the songs which you can find here.

Brandy and Monica Release New Duet “It All Belongs To Me”

Brandy and Monica have released their new duet “It All Belongs To Me,” today and the world is going crazy! The collaboration, produced by Rico Love, features the women kicking out their men with nothing on the soulful song, which will appear on both of their upcoming albums. This is the duo’s first song since 1998 when they dropped their famous duet, “The Boy Is Mine.”

“It’s a very soulful R&B song with pop sensibilities,” Love told Rap-Up.com. “I wanted to make sure I made it a classic R&B record, but I definitely wanted to make sure that it had enough appeal to cross over and become a Top 40 record.” Brandy added, “This business is all about competition. They forgot about what is the most important, which is two talents coming together. It’s just great to come back and do something with [Monica]. This is definitely a blessing.”

I remember being a kid and going crazy every time “The Boy Is Mine” came on the radio! To hear them together again is great! I think that their voices really compliment each other, and it’s great to see them back together on this song! It’s an amazing jam, and I see it climbing the charts fast.
