Vinny Guadagnino Parade magazine
Jersey Shore star Vinny Guadagnino doesn’t really give a crap what you think of him. Even though the critics have been saying that the Jersey Shore cast is giving Italian Americans a bad name, Vinny says that the real Italians that got off the boat aren’t the ones doing the criticizing.
He told Parade.com, “My family was all born in Sicily and I’m Italian American. They’re the real thing. They’re authentic Italians and honestly they’re the most open-minded, nicest people in the world and nothing can really offend them. That’s the way I think true Sicilians are. That’s why when Italians get mad and say, ‘You’re a bad representation of Italians,’ I’m like, ‘Really? Because my family is right off the boat and they don’t take it that seriously.’ The real Italians don’t really care as much.”
