Celebrity Gossip Heard All Over The Web

Salma and Beyonce ‘Chime for Change’ with Gucci

Beyonce and Salma Hayek have more in common that just daughters and rich husbands worth billions. The two internationally acclaimed stars have banded together to promote girl power in the new Gucci campaign ‘Chime for Change’ The campaign aims to raise money as well as awareness to support young girls and women worldwide. The debut of this campaign was announced by Hayek with a short film that was narrated by her and included Beyonce’s music. In total, there are ten scheduled short films that will feature inspirational women and their unique stories that unite women across the globe. Beyonce had this to say about the initiative:

“I have always felt strongly about equal opportunity for women. Girls have to be taught from early on that they are strong and capable of being anything they want to be. “It’s up to us to change the statistics for women around the world. I’m honored to be in the company of women who live fearlessly and set an example for the next generation of young ladies.”

Salma Hayek Is Not Just The Billionaire’s Wife

And why shouldn’t she be? She’s married to one of the richest men in the world, has titty balls bigger than a small country, and never has to work another day of her life if she doesn’t want to. But Salma wants you to know that life doesn’t necessarily get happier once you are a billionaire’s wife. Her beliefs in marriage have changed dramatically since she said ‘I do’ to French businessman Francois-Henri Pinault. The two have been married for nearly four years now and here is what she had to say about exchanging vows.

“I didn’t think marriage worked. I thought everybody who was married was secretly miserable – that it was something they just put up with for their children.”

Of course Salma should know that most people that are married are poor and so they stay married for the tax breaks. Salma has married so well that if she left Pinault tomorrow, there would be a nice check in her future. But why flee the cash cow when the milk hasn’t expired?

“I have a master of decision-making helping me out, so of course my life and my career are better,” she explains.

That master of decision-making probably told her to pop out a child as soon as possible to clinch the deal. Her daughter Valentina guarantees a lifetime supply of monies. Katie Holmes should have called Salma before she ditched her mini-man!

Inside The Clooney/Obama Fundraiser

George Clooney and President Barack Obama. Which one is truly the most powerful man on Earth?

“Obviously yesterday we made some news,” President Obama told $40,000-a-plate guests at a fundraiser at the home of George Clooney in Studio City, Calif., on Thursday. The event raised nearly $15 million, expected to be a record.

Mr. Obama’s statement supporting marriage equality for all couples fulfills a longstanding demand of a critical group of donors – the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender community. On Monday, the president is scheduled to appear at a fundraiser in New York sponsored by gay and Latino supporters. On June 6, he heads back to Los Angeles for a LGBT gala, which organizers say quickly exceeded its 700-person limit after the president’s announcement.

Gay activists are prominent players in the Obama 2012 campaign, including finance director Rufus Gifford, Democratic National Committee treasurer Andrew Tobias, and White House social secretary Jeremy Bernard. In addition, the president has a designated outreach team to the LGBT community.

So which celebs went to this historic fundraiser?

Salma Hayek’s Husband Wanted Baby Mama Linda Evangelista’s baby aborted!

I think it is safe to say that Salma Hayek isn’t a fan of supermodel Linda Evangelista. Her very rich hubby Francois-Henri Pinault got jiggy with Linda before she got a hold of her man, ending up in a pregnancy that was a result of a four-month affair. You get that? Yeah. The child of Linda and Francoi is now 5 years old and Linda is now needing some child support payments. Ahem and a large monthly payment at that. You know damn well that Salma is pissed that Linda is dipping into her Louboutins fund.

So Linda took Salma Hayek’s hubby to court seeking out a sum of $46,000 a month in child support. I’m guessing Linda didn’t save any of that supermodel cash to raise her kid. At any rate, Linda is dishing out all the dirt at a Manhattan court telling the judge that Francois wanted Linda to abort their child!!!

The model’s lawyer William Beslow said yesterday, “After some initial happiness, he told her he wished she would terminate the pregnancy.”

Pinault said in rebuttal, “I asked her what was her intention with the pregnancy. I was not involved in the decision of having babies. We were dating four months and I didn’t even know her very much.”

Here’s what Linda wants for Augie: $15,000 and $16,000 a month for ex-NYPD detectives to act as chauffeurs, and a 24-hour nanny costing almost $7,000 a month.

Baby mama drama.

Salma Hayek Sucks In The Chi Chis For Marie Claire’s @Work Issue

Salma Hayek puts away the hoohahs as best as Hayek can for the cover of Marie Claire’s May 2012 issue. And even though she keeps the chichis in check, that bosom is struggling to breathe. Resuscitation may be necessary, boys. Ok enough chi chi talk. We’re talking about Hayek, the businesswoman here.

Check out the highlights Hayek’s interview from the Marie Claire @Work issue.

ON PEOPLE WHO HAVE A HARD TIME ACCEPTING HER AS A BUSINESSWOMAN:

“Because I have a background in a different field, it can be hard to negotiate and make a good deal for myself. People always underestimate me. But if you stick around long enough, act out of conviction, and try to be honorable in everything you do, good things will come to you. I have seen karma work in this business.”

ON HER RICH HUSBAND, FRANCOIS-HENRI PINAULT:

“He’s the best thing that ever happened to me and my work. I was trying to figure out how to have a child on my own. I came to terms with saying, ‘[Love] might not happen, and I have to be OK with that.’ Then someone came along whom I never would have pictured or thought I would have wanted; he was completely out of my box. Even though I was not looking, I was present and I was open. I am the luckiest person I know.”

ON ACTING NOT BEING EVERYTHING TO HER:

“What once was an expression of who I was – acting – also became my hiding place. But now I don’t depend on it so much for my happiness or my identity. And since it’s not my priority, I am doing the best work I’ve ever done.”

Quote of the Day: Salma Hayek

“I believe that every woman is entitled to fight to preserve her youth. [Plastic surgery is] like the uniform of a generation. And it’s not necessarily beautiful. It’s not wrinkled-looking, but it’s not beautiful. Within you there is beauty, and you have to learn how to find it and enhance it in a natural way, One thing that is exciting about being a woman is that you can rediscover your beauty over and over and over.”
