Celebrity Gossip Heard All Over The Web

Lindsay Lohan and David Letterman Prank Call Oprah (VIDEO)

Lindsay Lohan stopped by the David Letterman “Late Show” to chit chat. But one of the highlights was when she and Dave had a little fun prank calling Oprah. During the taping of Wednesday night’s show, Letterman pretended to be Lohan’s secretary and called Oprah from his desk. This led to a little bit of a confusion on Oprah’s end until Letterman admitted who he was.

However, this funny moment turned into a bit of an emotional one for Lindsay.

Even though he had Lindsay right in front of him to ask how she was doing, he decided to ask Oprah how Lohan is REALLY doing as she took Lohan under wing.

Oprah told Letterman, “I think she’s doing really OK, I think to have cameras following you around for every phase of your life, and you’re trying to pull your life together, I think that’s a really difficult thing.”

After hearing Oprah’s words, Lindsay got all teary.

And that folks was NOT acting. Maybe Lindsay really IS getting better? Check out Lindsay Lohan and David Letterman pranking Oprah in the video below.

Lindsay Lohan Talks New BFF…Oprah

Via Extra TV:

Only “Extra’s” AJ Calloway was with Lindsay Lohan right after her appearance on “The Tonight Show” starring Jimmy Fallon. Lindsay saying, “It’s just really good energy…We played a game called water wars …I only got one hit though which was really good.” Lindsay saying Jimmy got soaked, “I got him good, I didn’t realize the gun was gonna shoot so high, hit him in the face.”

Lindsay’s next TV appearance, Sunday night when her docu-series airs on OWN, “I did it because it’s not a reality show, it’s pretty raw…Obviously it’s TV so things will be edited in certain ways to what will get ratings, which I can’t control, but I do know that my intentions going into it were really pure and really honest and real and I really appreciate all that’s happened and all that she’s done for me.”

Lohan continued, “I love that I can call Oprah on the phone, and be like Oprah can we talk right now and she calls me within two minutes and I have to trick her into leaving voice mails so I can just have Oprah’s voicemails…She’s the coolest person ever.”

Lindsay getting emotional when AJ shares with her that he told Oprah she had decided not to go on a trip to Europe at the premiere of Lee Daniels “The Butler.” AJ, “You were supposed to go away and you didn’t go away…I’m the one that said it to her on the carpet.” Lindsay, “She told me about that.” AJ, “She almost started crying on the carpet, she was so emotional about that, she was like, I’m so happy.” Lindsay wiping away her own tears, “She’s amazing, she is…She’s been a blessing to me, she’s great and I couldn’t be happier or more grateful.”

Lindsay saying overall she feels really good and she just wants to keep working. “My grandmother’s dream is gonna come true, I’m taking her on The Chew, so things are looking up….Life is really good.”

Well hopefully she has her head on straight and that the dolla dolla bills that Oprah is dangling right in front of her keeps her running well ahead of the drugs and bad influences. She has all the odds stacked against her, but the right person on her side!

Lindsay just say…

Oprah Tells Lindsay Lohan to “Cut the Bull” In Reality Show Extended Promo

Oprah got Lindsay Lohan TOGETHER in the extended promo of Lindsay’s upcoming reality show, Lindsay, on OWN!

The clip gives an inside look into how difficult the actress was while filming her life after her stint in rehab.

“So we were supposed to start shooting at 12:30 and Lindsay is locked out of her apartment. Which means we might not start shooting for a couple of hours,” director Amy Rice says with a sigh after a number of Lindsay’s tearful scenes from the first trailer are shown. She then jumps on her cell phone and says, “She’s not letting us into her apartment.”

Oprah soon comes in to settle the fuss. “My truth is that I really do want you to win. I really do,” the talk-show host says. “If that isn’t what you want, I’m OK with that, you know, I will tell these guys to pack up and leave.”

“No, it’s not that I’m not ready to do that, I do want to,” Lindsay replies before Oprah lets her know upfront: “You need to cut the bulls–t then, you really do.”

Check out the extended sneak peek below!

Lindsay premieres on Sunday, March 9, at 10 p.m. on OWN. I will definitely be watching! I’m rooting for Lindsay, though I’m not exactly sure how a reality show is going to help her better her life. I hope she stays on the right track, though!

Trisha Yearwood Poses Seductively For Oprah

Trisha Yearwood is featured in O, The Oprah Magazine’s November fashion spread looking like a “sexy domestic goddess” in a spread that puts a high-fashion, fantasy spin on her Food Network show, “Trisha’s Southern Kitchen.” This is the first time that Trisha has been shot with such a focus on fashion and she looks fantastic.

Yes, I said it and I’ll say it again…SEXY DOMESTIC GODDESS. Check out the highlights from the interview below:

On not being used to her new size:

“I lost the weight eight months ago, and I still wake up every day and think there’s no way my clothes will fit. I used to try on ten things and just wear whatever was the least offensive,” she admitted. “I guess I still have that mental block.”

On her music fans vs. her food fans:

“There’s a pretty big overlap. The die-hard music fans keep tweeting, “we like the show, but make another record.’”

So what do YOU think? Is Trisha sexy?

Oprah Sinks to a New Lohan

It looks like OWN needs a bit of a bump in the ratings oprahand speaking of bumps, lumps, and chumps, Oprah’s fledgling network has called on the paparazzi’s #1 meal ticket to give her network a boost in the ratings.

When Lindsay Lohan gets out of jail and realizes how far Amanda Bynes has run with her CrackWhore title, she will need a new avenue for some PR, so here comes Oprah to save the day! The two will set down and Oprah will interview everyone’s favorite Strawberry Snortcake to find out what rehab was like and how she’s moving forward with her life.

And after that?

Oprah’s network is gonna follow this foolyun around long enough to shoot an 8-part documentary that shows how The Lohan plans to rebuild her career and her path to sobriety.

Excuse us while we snicker in the corner…

Beyoncé Will Be Interviewed for Oprah’s Next Chapter

Beyoncé is the next celeb in line to sit down with Oprah Winfrey for an intimate conversation on Oprah’s Next Chapter! The one-on-one interview will air the same night as Bey’s long-awaited HBO documentary Life Is But A Dream. The Oprah interview will premiere at 8 p.m. EST Saturday February 12, and the documentary will air directly after at 9 p.m. EST on HBO. Don’t worry: There won’t be a conflict. The OWN interview will air at 8 p.m. this Saturday, and the HBO documentary airs at 9.

This is honestly something that I’m extremely excited about, yet very surprised by. Beyoncé is a notoriously private person, and admittedly struggles with how much to reveal about herself. So to have an interview with Oprah, and a revealing documentary is really special! I’m praying that she actually gets personal with this interview and documentary! A few things I’m hoping for on what I’ve deemed “Bey Night?” Beyoncé to possibly discuss some well-kept family secrets with Oprah like her devastating miscarriage and her father, Mathew Knowles, having a son with another woman. Oh, and to see Blue Ivy without a blanket over her face! She’s a cute little baby…Bey and Jay need to show her off more!

Rihanna Cries Over Chris Brown In Oprah Interview (VIDEO)

Oprah did a little bit of sucking up with Rihanna in order to get an exclusive interview that you know damn well is going to be raking in the ratings for good ole OWN. And you know how I know this? Big O brought Rihanna to tears.

During the interview, Rihanna talks about how protective she felt of Chris Brown after he beat her up more than three years ago. Ri got emotional when talking about the highly publicized 2009 assault.

She said, “It was embarrassing, it was humiliating. I lost my best friend. Everything I knew switched, switched in a night, and I couldn’t control that. It was a weird, confusing space to be in. Because as angry as I was – as angry and hurt and betrayed – I just felt like he made that mistake because he needed help. And who’s going to help him? Nobody’s going to say he needs help. Everybody’s going to say he’s a monster, without looking at the source. And I was more concerned about him.”

After interviewing Rihanna, Oprah said her views about the pop star changed. Winfrey said, “I thought she was going to be kind of a badass, kind of a hard-edged rocker, pop woman. Nothing could have been further from the truth.”

The full interview will be broadcast on Sunday on Winfrey’s OWN cable network.

Peep the clip below.

Kim Loves Dating Older Man Kanye

Much of the Kardashians interview with Oprah sounded rehearsed and fake, but if there was one somewhat interesting piece from the sit-down with Big O, it was Kimmy K’s talk about her current beau Kanye West.

She has boned dated all younger men, including Ray J, Miles Austin, Reggie Bush and Kris Humphries, before her love connection with Ye and she says now she feels confident with an older man in her life.

She tells Oprah, “Before, all my boyfriends were younger. I always dated five years younger. Now I just love that I’m with someone that’s a couple (of) years older than me.”

For your information, Kanye is 35 and she is 31.

In Kim’s words, being with an older man has forced her to totally grow up. And she’s compared it to her sister popping a baby out of her poon.

She adds, “It’s like how (my sister) Kourtney had this epiphany when she had her baby and she changed into a different person, I feel like I’ve had an epiphany over the last year. For what I’ve been through… I am that changed person, just from my own experiences.”

Bobbi Kristina tells Oprah her mom’s spirit told her to “come home”

Bobbi Kristina had that Oprah interview last week and we all finally got to see it on Oprah’s OWN network on Sunday evening. And even though her mother Whitney Houston is no longer on Earth in the flesh, Bobbi Kris is certain that her mother’s spirit passes through her on a daily basis.

BK told Big O, “She always says, at five o’clock in the morning, the saints wake up and they start praying. Every morning since then, I’ve woken up at five out of nowhere. I wake up and I start praying.”

And Bobbi told Oprah that the first night at her mother’s home was tough until her mother told her to “come home”. “When I came back home I felt humbled,” Bobbi Kristina said.

Not only that but “I can still sit there and I can laugh with her. I can still sit there and I can still talk to her.”

While that may be kind of strange sounding to peeps who haven’t lost a loved one before, Bobbi Kris isn’t nuts in the head.

So why did she decide to take part in Oprah’s interview? She desperately wanted everyone to know that her mother was an amazing spirit. She told Big O, “She wasn’t only a mother, she was a best friend. She was a sister, a comforter.”

Check out the interview with Bobbi Kris below.

Oprah Winfrey Lands Bobbi Kristina interview!

Oprah done did it. She landed an exclusive interview with Whitney Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina. Hello ratings gold! Her OWN network has been suffering big time but you best believe that this huge interview is going to straighten her network right out at least for a hot minute.

The Associated Press is reporting that not only has Oprah landed an interview with Whitney’s daughter but also other family members. I’m thinking it is safe to say that Bobby Brown will NOT be one of those individuals.

Here’s what we know:

The interview will not be shot in front of a live studio audience as per Oprah’s usual style.

“Oprah’s Next Chapter” will feature an interview with 18-year-old Bobbi Kristina, Houston’s only child. It will also include Patricia Houston, who’s the singer’s sister-in-law and manager, as well as the singer’s brother Gary.

For all of you wondering (which I am sure many of you are) the air date for this TV special is March 11th on Oprah’s OWN network.

Let me just ask this…who WON’T be watching?

Quote of the Day: Oprah Winfrey

“I would absolutely say it is and was not where I want it to be for year one. My focus up until [last] May was doing what I do best, which is The Oprah Winfrey Show and giving that my full attention. If this doesn’t work out, I’m going to go into organic farming in Maui. And I’m not kidding.”

Oprah, on her OWN network first year “fail”

Shows to Catch in the 2012 Winter Mid-Season TV Schedule

We aren’t through the holidays yet (don’t forget New Years!) But, trust me, I’m already getting set for the upcoming 2012 TV Schedule…and I don’t know about you, but while we are all recovering from the holidays and the lack of three (or four) day weekends until Memorial Day, a healthy dose of some new shows always does me good.

So, what should you be watching this season?

Oprah’s Next Chapter (OWN Network; Premieres January 1st, New Years Day)

Hmmmm…anyone else beginning to wonder about that whole, you know, Oprah farewell deal? Yah, me too. I was really beginning to wonder if Oprah could stay off television for…well, ever. And you know what? She can’t! And her new show, Oprah’s Next Chapter premieres on New Year’s Day where she interviews Steven Tyler of Aerosmith.

Anyone else winning a bet among friends on whether Oprah would actually return back to television? Yup, me too.

Oprah’s new show will feature her traveling around the country to interview public figures and celebrities…and you know what? I wish her the best on the new show, and I am sooo planning on watching this.

Luck (HBO, Premieres January 29th)

Okay, really, I’ve never been that much into horse tv shows or movies. Really. I didn’t even buy “My Little Pony” as a little girl.

BUT, with that said, I’m really looking forward to HBO’s newest show, Luck. Why? The top notch cast of course – Dustin Hoffman, Richard Kind, Nick Nolte…wow, right? It follows along the lives of people who are going to the same horse racing track…and really, anything that features Dustin Hoffman will have me interested.

The Firm (NBC, Premieres January 8th)

I loved the book. I loved the movie (featuring one of my many celebrity crushes, Tom Cruise). And I’m planning on lovin’ the new show.

And apparently this isn’t just a recreation of the movie (which…I really hated the idea of), but it’s catching up with the character Mitchell McDeere ten years after the setting of the film (remember TV Watchers, that ending seen where he drives back home to go with a firm that is small, but with a “lot of potential?”

Now, they are emerging from the witness protection program, and ah, I just can’t wait. And you know who plays Mitchell McDeere? Josh Lucus. And he’s so, soo hot.

House of Lies (Showtime, Premieres January 8th)

I will be very busy this January premiere season making sure that I’m not missing a beat when it comes to the new shows. House of Lies features a consulting firm, where Don Cheadle is a consultant who will do anything to get his way (and his clients’ way). And you know? I think Showtime is really pulling out all the stops for the show…not only do they have a website for the consulting firm, but they also have an app almost ready to go.

Freakin’ show hasn’t even premiered yet. Although, you can catch the first episode on Showtime’s website, and maybe you can decide if all this effort will be worth it. It will definitely be a show that I will catch this upcoming season.

Smash (NBC, Premieres February 6th)

Did you love the movie Chicago? Do you love Glee? If you answered yes to both of those questions…than the show Smash is for you. This show takes you behind the scenes of a musical and two hopefuls wanting the lead of Marilyn. It features that charming acting of Katharine McPhee, the great hair of Debra Messing (sorry, I do love her hair), and aggresive character of Megan Hilty. I’m pumped for it already, tv watchers!

It premieres after some football game that’s supposed to be a big deal. Oh, the superbowl I think (I kid, I kid…don’t freak out).

Alright TV Watchers, these are the few new shows I will be catching this season. What other shows are you looking forward too?

Oprah’s fledgling network debuted with much fanfare and high expectations. A year later, her OWN is not exactly reaching the pinnacle of success as her talk show which went off the air after 25 unprecedented years.

VIP Fashion Tip of the Day: Oprah’s Favorite Things

Every year I look forward to seeing Oprah’s picks for her “Favorite Things.” Sadly, since there’s no more Oprah show there’s no more famous “Favorite Things” giveaway episode. This year, I had to wait for the full list in Oprah’s Magazine but still as excited as ever.
