Celebrity Gossip Heard All Over The Web

Beyoncé Will Re-Release ‘Beyoncé’ Album With New Music and Video Footage!

Beyoncé is coming back with some new music! The singer is re-releasing her surprise 2013 album Beyoncé with some new tracks, remixes to the original songs, as well a DVD!

According to Us Weekly, Queen Bey will premiere two brand new songs on this new album called “7/11” and “Ring Off.” The album will also include four new remixes: “Flawless Remix” with Nicki Minaj, a “Drunk in Love Remix” with Kanye West and Beyonce’s husband Jay Z, a “Blow Remix” with Pharrell Williams, and a “Standing on the Sun Remix” with Mr. Vegas.

The additional DVD will feature videos of live performances from the  Mrs. Carter Show World Tour, with extra commentary Bey herself. This platinum package will also include a 2015 Beyoncé calendar as well as photo booklets.

The album, set to be released November 24, is rumored to cost $30-$35. Though I have the original album, I might end up buying this anyway. I have GOT to have that DVD with the performances! I went to the Mrs. Carter Show, and had an amazing time. To see the performances edited and dolled up will be awesome, though!

Patiently waiting until November 24!

Robin Thicke Names New Album After Estranged Wife Paula Patton

Robin Thicke refuses to quit in his mission to get  Paula Patton back! The singer, who split with the actress earlier this year, is going as far as to even name his new album after her!

His rep confirmed the news to Us Weekly, saying that Robin’s upcoming album, which will be released July 1, will be called Paula. It will include the single “Get Her Back,” which Robin first sang at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards in May. As he introduced the song, Robin said, “All right, y’all, help me get her back.”

High school sweethearts, the couple announced their decision to part ways back in February, after almost 9 years of marriage. Rumor has it that it was Paula’s choice, and that Robin is desperately trying to save the marriage. Since the announcement was made, Robin has made several attempts publicly to get his woman back! Just days after their split, he dedicated a song to Paula at a concert in Fairfax, Va., telling the crowd, “For y’all that don’t know, me and my wife separated but I’m trying to get my girl back.”

Paula herself recently told Vanity Fair that there was and would always be a “deep love” between her and Robin. “We’ve known each other since we were teenagers,” she said. “All I can tell you is there’s a deep love there — always was, and always will be. He wasn’t my first kiss, but he was my first lots of other things.”

Rumors are flying that his recent naughty behavior on stage and at parties turned Paula away, but no one knows for sure. However, I don’t think songs and an album title is enough to get her back. In any relationship, ACTION is key. Let her see that you have really changed, and maybe she’ll strongly consider giving you another chance!

Eminem Reconnects With Mother Debbie in ‘Highlights’ Music Video

What a happy Mother’s Day indeed! Eminem officially reunited with his estranged mother Debbie Mathers in the new music video to his single “Headlights,” putting aside their long-lasting feud.

The rapper often ranted terribly about his mom in past songs, speaking out about their issues. However, he used “Headlights” to apologize to Debbie, and acknowledge the role that he played in their disagreements. “Never thinking about who what I said hurt, in what verse / My mom probably got it the worst / The brunt of it, but as stubborn as we are / Did I take it too far?” Eminem delivers on the track. “‘Cleaning Out My Closet’ and all them other songs / But regardless I don’t hate you ’cause, Ma, / You’re still beautiful to me, ’cause you’re my mom.”

The video premiered yesterday, Sunday May 11, right on Mother’s Day! Directed by Spike Lee, the video also featured Fun‘s Nate Ruess on the melody. It was told from Debbie’s point of view, as she looks back on Emimen’s childhood, as well as her drug and alcohol use, and denied attempts to reconnect with her son. The end of the video was the most beautiful part, as she and Eminem hugged it out before going off separately.

Check out the reconciliation below!

Eminem has had issues with his mom for quite some time, so this reunion was definitely beautiful to see. It was long over due too. At the end of the day, they are mother and son. It was very nice to see them reunite and put aside their anger and issues. Life’s too short not to. Kudos to them!

Lauryn Hill’s Tax Evasion Tour In the Works

As we predicted, Lauryn Hill is about to start singing for her supper again!

The recently sprung ex-Fugees member was recently released from the clink for tax evasion and now that her three months is up, Hill is looking to make some cash to pay off the balance and feed her children (she had 5 the last time we counted).

According to sources, Hill was set to have home detention for the next three months, but she has asked the judge presiding over her case to give her permission to perform and make some money and he bought it. With that out of the way, Lauryn is busy trying to promote her new single and book venues to promote it.

Hey, it’s either this or sing ‘No Woman, No Cry’ on the sidewalks and we cannot have our hip hop legends doing that, right?!

Miley’s Stylists Spare NO Expense

Being Miley Cyrus is hard work.

When you are one of the richest poptarts in the world, it takes tons of money to make you look a certain way.

So do not even question Miley’s mission when she turned to her stylists and said with her most serious face:

“Spare no expense! Make me look like a Polish hooker working near the back fields of Krakow.”

Mission accomplished.

Haters may scoff, but Miley is a sinspiration to young hookers girls everywhere! Not only is she saving households tons of money with her lack of clothing that influences what all girls under 25 buy, but she is bringing back whore core values to America! It’s almost enough to make us shed a tear here at CelebrityVipLounge. Miley Cyrus is a national treasure that must be celebrated!

And if you are wanting to steal this look, it’s quite easy and quite cheap. All you need are some cotton swabs, some dental floss, and a dead baby rabbit. Mix, stir, skin it, and blur the lines of common sense, taste, and decency simultaneously!

And before you hate on her, let us remind you who has the #1 single in the country right now? Who is the envy of every girl this side of the ho stroll equator right now? Who has one of the hot Hemsworth brothers on her arm right now?

Eiza Gonzalez?

I guess those classy get-ups can only carry a poptart so far!

Introducing…The Rick Webster Project

Musician Rick Webster is a musical force to be reckoned with, and his latest EP proves the music that brought success the first time around was no fluke. The first EP, Rick Webster, was released in 2011 and featured many of the influences that brought him acclaim, including his tutelage as a jazz aficionado. The EP scored nominations at the WAM Awards for best jazz act and jazz song of the year in 2012. Not resting on his laurels, Rick Webster quickly followed up this EP with The Rick Webster Project.

For those that love the timeless musical essence of groups like Steely Dan, these influences can best be heard on the first track off the EP, ‘Write for Me’. The essence of being a singer-songwriter is vibrantly felt on the track ‘Long Way Home‘, with Allira Wilson’s vocals adding just the right touch. For those that are eager to hear more jazzy offerings from the band, they can be satiated with a taste of it on the closing track, ‘Already Mine’.

Rick Webster has achieved a loyal following through tireless touring. A native of Perth, Australia, his background in jazz was cemented at the Academy of Performing Arts. He is known as one of the most professional guitarists in Australia and his works have gained him recognition throughout the industry. His musical chops awarded him the John Lennon Songwriting Competition for the jazz category, and he was also a finalist in the American Songwriting Competition last year. The artistry his band exudes on stage has been compiled and placed on a live DVD, which features over two hours of music – improvisation and interaction with the crowd being standouts from this musical feature. For fans of true artistry and musicality, The Rick Webster Project delivers.

Robin Murray: Bass
Bronton Ainsworth: Drums

Kanye West Opens Up About Kim, The Baby and Music

Kanye West has taken a huge break from the media for the past two years to give an in-depth interview with the New York Times! The interview, which spans over three days, Kanye opened up about a lot from his relationship with Kim Kardashian, to the Taylor Swift incident (can that be forgotten already?), to his new music on the way in less than a week!

Check out pieces of the interview below!

If his outlook on family has changed after his mother passed:
Yeah, because my mother was — you know, I have family, but I was with my mother 80 percent of the time. My mom was basically — [pause]

On his relationship
Any woman that you’re in love with or that loves you is going to command a certain amount of, you know, energy. It’s actually easier to focus, in some ways.

On the episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians when he helped Kim pick out her clothes
That was from a place of love. It’s hard when people read things in a lot of different ways. You know, the amount of backlash I got from it is when I decided to not be on the show anymore. And it’s not that I have an issue with the show; I just have an issue with the amount of backlash that I get. Because I just see like, an amazing person that I’m in love with that I want to help.

His thoughts on fatherhood
That is a really interesting, powerful question. One of the things was just to be protective, that I would do anything to protect my child or my child’s mother. As simple as that. I don’t want to explain too much into what my thoughts on, you know, fatherhood are, because I’ve not fully developed those thoughts yet. I don’t have a kid yet.

Well, I just don’t want to talk to America about my family. Like, this is my baby. This isn’t America’s baby.

On The Grammy Awards
[My Beautiful] Dark [Twisted] Fantasy” and “Watch the Throne”: neither was nominated for Album of the Year, and I made both of those in one year. I don’t know if this is statistically right, but I’m assuming I have the most Grammys of anyone my age, but I haven’t won one against a white person.

But the thing is, I don’t care about the Grammys; I just would like for the statistics to be more accurate.

On if he regrets the Taylor Swift incident
I don’t have one regret. If anyone’s reading this waiting for some type of full-on, flat apology for anything, they should just stop reading right now.

But that is something that you apologized for.
Yeah, I think that I have like, faltered, you know, as a human. My message isn’t perfectly defined. I have, as a human being, fallen to peer pressure.

Dark Fantasy” was my long, backhanded apology. You know how people give a backhanded compliment? It was a backhanded apology. It was like, all these raps, all these sonic acrobatics. I was like: “Let me show you guys what I can do, and please accept me back. You want to have me on your shelves.

On knowing he would be a huge star

I knew when I wrote the line “light-skinned friend look like Michael Jackson” [from the song “Slow Jamz”] I was going to be a big star. At the time, they used to have the Virgin music [stores], and I would go there and just go up the escalator and say to myself, “I’m soaking in these last moments of anonymity.” I knew I was going to make it this far; I knew that this was going to happen.

On his passion and not being taken seriously
But the passion is for humanity. The passion is for people. The passion is for the 18-year-old version of myself. The passion is for the kids at my shows. I need to do more. I need to be able to give people more of what they want that currently is behind a glass. I don’t believe that it’s luxury to go into a store and not be able to afford something. I believe luxury is to be able to go into a store and be able to afford something.

I sat down with a clothing guy that I won’t mention, but hopefully if he reads this article, he knows it’s him and knows that out of respect, I didn’t mention his name: this guy, he questioned me before I left his office:, “If you’ve done this, this, and this, why haven’t you gone further in fashion?” And I say, “I’m learning.” But ultimately, this guy that was talking to me doesn’t make Christmas presents, meaning that nobody was asking for his [stuff] as a Christmas present. If you don’t make Christmas presents, meaning making something that’s so emotionally connected to people, don’t talk to me.

On his legacy:
I think what Kanye West is going to mean is something similar to what Steve Jobs means. I am undoubtedly, you know, Steve of Internet, downtown, fashion, culture. Period. By a long jump. I honestly feel that because Steve has passed, you know, it’s like when Biggie passed and Jay-Z was allowed to become Jay-Z.

I’ve been connected to the most culturally important albums of the past four years, the most influential artists of the past ten years. You have like, Steve Jobs, Walt Disney, Henry Ford, Howard Hughes, Nicolas Ghesquière, Anna Wintour, David Stern.

I think that’s a responsibility that I have, to push possibilities, to show people: “This is the level that things could be at.” So when you get something that has the name Kanye West on it, it’s supposed to be pushing the furthest possibilities. I will be the leader of a company that ends up being worth billions of dollars, because I got the answers. I understand culture. I am the nucleus.

I respect Kanye. He can definitely be cocky and albeit controversial, but he’s something of a visionary and brings a lot to hip hop. I look forward to hearing his new music, and to see that baby!

Mumford & Sons Bassist Ted Dwane “Recovering Nicely”

Yesterday it was reported that Mumford & Sons bassist Ted Dwane was taken to the hospital this week to receive emergency treatment for an apparent blood clot doctors found on his brain. So scary!

The band issued an official statement about the matter on its website that reads:

“Our friend and bandmate Ted has feel feeling unwell for a few days, and yesterday he was taken to a hospital to receive emergency treatment.

“The Scans revealed a blood clot on the surface of his brain that requires an operation. Ted is receiving excellent care and we are being assured that he will recover quickly from surgery.”

Following the news, Mumford & Sons has announced that they will postpone the next three scheduled shows, but the band assures fans that they will reschedule as soon as they can.

The band, just as many others, also said they were “wishing Ted a speedy recovery.”

Today, the Daily Mail is reporting that Dwane is “recovering nicely.” The update came via the band’s banjo player Winston Marshall, who announced the good news via Twitter.

So glad they caught the blood clot when they did and that they are able to treat it. We’ll update you guys as things develop, but until then Celebrity VIP is sending good vibes Dwane’s way and will continue to keep him in our thoughts.

Britney Is Headed to Vegas, Y’all!

Somewhere in his grave, Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis, Jr., among many other Vegas stars, are somersaulting in their graves over this news. Vegas has nowhere to go BUT up now, if these reports britneyare true.

Lip-syncer extraordinaire, Britney Spears, who left X-Factor and Simon Cowell’s strings, is getting ready to invade Sin City with her special brand of sangin’! As soon as she quit the show, there was speculation that she would get a residency stint in Las Vegas at one of the larger venues. Well, that news subsided and we all breathed a sigh of relief as that would clear room for real singers like Better Midler or Barbra Streisand or Cher, but here it comes again!

Caesar’s is now hinting that the cray cray singer will possibly headline at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in the near future. For how long? No one knows yet, but for at least a year or two, Vegas better haul in an extra ton of Cheetos, Starbucks, as well as lock down all marriage shacks. You never know when her crazy will be ignited again!

Lindsay Lohan Is Threatening Our Ears With Another Album

Because her first albums sold well and she definitely needs the money, Lindsay Lohan has made headlines now for saying that she plans to go back into the studios and record tracks for an upcoming music album. Now, the world can hear what vocal chords laced with prescription drugs, rails of blizzardry badness, crack pipe hits, and Jesus juice sounds like. If she was a soprano nearly ten years ago, then she’s probably a baritone these days, especially after all the cancer sticks she’s sucked down. But for her die-hard fans, fret not. In the current environment of AudioTune, Lohan has nothing to worry about. She’s going to sound as clear and pristine as…

Britney Spears.

So when is she going to be writing these potential crack hits? She definitely has plenty of emotional material to draw from. She could write about her run-ins with the law. She could write about Emma Stone being the new Lindsay Lohan and call it, ‘I’m The Lindsay, You’re the Emma!’ She could write a pop song about hot-boxing with Charlie Sheen. She could write a song about doing lines with her mother. The possibilities are endless!

Keyshia Cole vs. Beyonce?

As if this is even a contest? One of them has a truckload of hit songs, Grammys, millions upon millions, and a baby daddy that could buy half of the Tri-State area if he wanted. The other one? Well, at least she can afford hair dye to keep her hair blonde. For now.

R&B singer Keyshia Cole, who has been having a recent spate of bad publicity, keeps the bad ish rolling right along. First, she came after Destiny’s Child member Michelle Williams immediately after their Super Bowl performance. Michelle, being from the house of Not The One, proceeded to verbally slap Keyshia on Twitter, since that’s the place to go these days And now Keyshia, who obviously is not making enough checks from her reality series ventures, has come after Queen Bey herself.

Key-Key had this to say about Bey-Bey concerning her newly released single, ‘Bow Down/I Been On’…

“Can’t stand when people all self righteous when it’s convenient it makes them look good. Lmao! But can still talk s–t when convenient 2 FOH.”

Beyonce’s Twitter fans have of course are now gunning for Keyshia in a slew of tweets that suggest Ms. Cole needs a hit record ASAP.

They’re probably right.

Jay Sean Announces Plans for New Album and Entertainment Company

Jay Sean has officially announced plans to release a new album, as well as his own entertainment company! His fourth album, Neon, is set to debut on May 21.  “Where You Are” will be the first single this Cash Money/Republic project, will hit radio and iTunes on March 19.

Jay is also launching his entertainment company, Kamouflage Entertainment, with business associates Jeremy Skaller and Thara Prashad.  According to Billboard.com, the company has “offices in both New York City and Los Angeles, [and the] first signings include Australian prankster crew The Janoskians, U.K. “X Factor” finalists The Fairground and urban production duo Da BeatFreaks (whose credits include British boy band Blue). Kamouflage’s debut project will be The Janoskians, slated for first quarter release via Sony Music.”

Alright Jay Sean! Gotta respect the hustle. Can’t wait to hear some new music from him, and to see what his company has to offer!

Grant Lyle – So There

Have a listen to Grant Lyle and immediately, one thinks of those great rock and blues singers where no last name is necessary.

The singer/songwriter brings his considerable skills to the table and on his latest CD, 2012’s So There. Unlike some musicians, Lyle is not afraid to let the music do all of the talking. He opens with ‘Impressions’, a track that is solely him playing his guitar, allowing the notes to paint a picture instead of layering it with his vocals. In this way, he showcases his prowess as a master musician that many others would be smart to incorporate into their own performances.

One of the stand-out tracks is ‘Let It Out’ that could probably be considered his bluesiest of the playlist and will have listeners swaying with the beat before they know what has hit them. And although many will try to compare him to the greats mentioned above, Grant Lyle shows that not only is he as good as those famous monikers, but he is just as talented in his own right. With several albums under his belt and accolades from some of the most prestigious organizations in the industry, Lyle has logged countless hours on the road as well as television appearances worldwide. The native Canadian is well known in his country for a reason. He can deliver the goods and this CD proves that his blues span on the airwaves is no fluke.

For listeners that prefer the sounds of 80s blues without the over-production that plagues most albums these days and drowns out the actual singer, So There shows that no matter what additives and preservatives you lay over the sounds, at the end of the day, it always comes back to the music.

You’re Killing Me

Destiny’s Child Will Release New Compilation Album

Big news for Destiny’s Child fans! The group is set to release a new compilation album on January 29!

Straight from lead singer Beyoncé‘s website, the album, Love Songs, will be comprised of Destiny’s Child classics recorded between 1997-2004. Love Songs will also feature “Nuclear,” the first new Destiny’s Child recording since 2004! Produced by Pharrell Williams (who cowrote the track with DC’s Michelle Williams, James Fauntleroy and Lonny Bereal), “Nuclear” features vocal production by Beyoncé and Lonny Bereal. The compilation will be released under Legacy Recordings.

The website added:

In addition to the new track, “Nuclear,” Love Songs balances romantic, passionate and sensual selections from 1998’s Destiny’s Child (“Killing Time,” “Second Nature”); 1999’s The Writing’s On The Wall (“Now That She’s Gone,” “If You Leave” featuring Next, “Temptation”); 2001’s Survivor (“Brown Eyes,” “Emotion”) and 2004’s Destiny Fulfilled (“Cater 2 U,” “If,” “T-Shirt,” “Love”). Added treats for fans include the Timbaland remix of “Say My Name” (originally released on 2002’s This Is The Remix) and Kelly Rowland’s “Heaven” (a key track from Simply Deep, her 2002 solo album).”

Pre-orders are now available on Amazon! I am BEYOND excited for this album! I was thinking about Destiny’s Child a few weeks ago, wondering if they would ever reunite for an album, a song, whatever. Of course, I would love for there to be a completely new album filled with music, but beggars can’t be choosers! I can’t wait to hear these new tracks!
