Whitney Houston’s Greatest Performances Album is On the Way

An album with some of the best live performances from the late, great Whitney Houston is coming!  The commemorative album, entitled ‘Whitney Houston Live: Her Greatest Performances’  hit stores on November 10th.

I knew this was coming, since record labels still try to make money off of their artists even after they’re gone. However, I’m still excited for this. Whitney always was and always will be incredible, and I definitely want to snag this for my collection.

Check out the tracklist for the CD and DVD below!

HBO Announces “Beyoncé: X10” Concert Series

Good news BeyHive! After airing her documentary, Life Is But A Dream, in February 2013, Beyoncé is heading back to HBO, this time showing off some of her most recent performances!

The network announced that it will air a 10-episode miniseries of four-minute Beyoncé concert performances starting June 29 (Think live music videos of some of Queen Bey’s most recent songs!). Titled “Beyoncé: X10,” the performances will air every Sunday night at 8:55 p.m. ET, right before True Blood, which airs its seventh and final season on June 22.

All of the clips will be from Bey’s most recent tour, the Mrs. Carter Show Would Tour. Taped performances include “Blow/Cherry,” “Drunk in Love,” “Ghost/Haunted,” “Flawless/Yonce,” “Get Me Bodied/Baby Boy/Diva,” “Girls,” “Heaven,” “Partition,” “Why Don’t You Love Me?” and “XO.”

It’s awesome, because it will be high quality instead of the YouTube videos we fans tend to record on our iPhones and low quality cameras! And, personally, since I didn’t see any of the performances from Bey’s new album live (I went to MCWT before the album was released), I’m definitely excited! Plus, it’s just a good way to keep your name out there, and keep good connections with the network. You never know what else she might do with HBO in the future!
