Celebrity Gossip Heard All Over The Web

Cee Lo Green Is Done With The Voice For Good!

Cee Lo Green is moving on! After four seasons on NBC reality singing competition The Voice, the singer has announced that he won’t be returning to the show….ever!

“I’m going to continue my relationship with NBC,” he said in an appearance on the Feb. 19 episode of Ellen.   “I have a television show development deal with them as well and hopefully some other talk show opportunities for later in the year. But yeah, I’m going to miss The Voice too. So I’m not coming back guys.”

Ellen DeGeneres asked Cee Lo to clarify. “I’m not coming back at all,” he said. “I don’t want to wear out my welcome there. You know what I’m saying. I have so many other things that I want to do. I haven’t released an album in four years. I’m almost done with my album.”

Lionel Richie joined Cee Lo on the show, and they made the announcement that they’ll also be going on tour together! “He’ll be with me, on the road,” Lionel chimed in.

Cee Lo was one of the original four mentors on The Voice sitting with Adam LevineBlake Shelton and Christina Aguilera. Both he and Christina were judges for seasons 1-3. Shakira and Usher took their spots for season 4, but they came back for season 5.

I don’t watch The Voice often, but there’s definitely a lot of talent there that Cee Lo has been a part of helping to groom. I’m sure he’ll be missed, but I’m ready to see what he has cooking up in the music realm!

Lionel Richie to Uncle Sam: “Hello…is it me You’re Looking For?”

Uncle Sam is after Lionel Richie now. Yes, Richie owes some back taxes, peeps.

Lionel Richie either has been dancing on the ceiling too damn much, getting his jheri curl primed and smoothed or he has an accountant that isn’t that good at crunching numbers. Mmmhmm…Richie needs to start setting aside some of that money that he spends on his soul glow so that he can pay the United States government back that cool mil he owes in back taxes. Yep. Him too.

Celebrities must hate this time of year…just hoping and praying that their accountant isn’t the one who makes the big mistake and makes them look like a fool publicly.

TMZ is reporting that Richie owes a $1.1 million debt to the IRS…not that that amount is really that big of a deal, but hey it’s still enough to make one go…what the eff, Lionel!?!

According to documents obtained by TMZ, Richie owes the federal government $1,130,609.11 in unpaid income tax for 2010. He’s been slapped with a lien so he can start shelling out that dough asap or lose his goods.

FYI: Lionel is worth over $200 million, so yeah.

And just because…
