Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon Team Up For History of Rap 5 (VIDEO)

justintimberlake

Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon are at it again with their classic History of Rap. This time they are bringing their FIFTH installation of their popular segment.

Jimmy and Justin unleashed some pretty classic jams in their new mix including a medley of verses from hit makers LL Cool J, Run DMC, Tone Loc, Beastie Boys, Kendrick Lamar, Salt-N-Pepa, Jay Z, DJ Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince and much more.

As always, this is a must see video and if you love these two together and their History of Rap collaborations, you will love this one for sure. What was kind of funny was JT’s hair. He definitely was having some issues trying to keep his slick back slicked.

Check it out below, yo.

Justin Timberlake Sexy As Always on GQ Men of the Year Issue

Justin Timberlake is looking GOOD on the cover of GQ as one of the five GQ Men of the year! The other men celebrated were Matthew McConaughey, Kendrick Lamar, Will Ferrell and the late James Gandolfini, each of whom will get their own cover on the magazine. But Justin? Too gorgeous.

In the December issue (on sale Nov. 19), JT expressed that his career is always on the go, and he’s good with that. “I don’t see myself as someone who’s ever going to be defined by one moment,” he says. “It’s on to the next.”

Check out some excerpts from the interview below!

On growing up in Memphis and responding to his critics:

“It’s a struggling city with a defeatist attitude. I’m from this town, and I grew up with a little bit of a chip on my shoulder, so sometimes I find it funny that I’ve been able to acquire the patience it takes to be kind to people in our business. Because sometimes I just want to (expletive) kill everybody.”

On his response to negative reviews of Runner Runner:

“This recognizable face that you work so hard to get — not because you want the recognition but because you know you’re made to do it. …The movie didn’t do well at the box office, so I should quit? Hold on a second. If I was somebody else, you wouldn’t have said that. I have the number one album this week, and I shouldn’t have released it? Come on, man. You sound like a (jerk) … It just shocked me because, like, you’re trade magazines.None of your opinions count. And by the way, none of you can do it.”

On his upcoming role in Coen brothers’ film, Inside Llewyn Davis

“You do a Coens movie and secretly you’re like, ‘All I want to do is make people laugh in this movie. If I can make people laugh in this movie, then I don’t care. Whatever else happens, happens.’ “

What do you think of Justin and the other GQ men of the year? Who would you have liked to see on the cover this year?

Justin Timberlake Announces Album Release Date and World Tour

justin_timberlake

The 20/20 Experience, JT has announced that the sequel is coming sooner than we thought–September 30 to be exact!

The singer posted a pic on Instagram Sunday, showing him playing a guitar in a recording studio. In the foreground is a handwritten sign with the message “The 20/20 Experience (2 of 2) Sept. 30th.” The caption read: “#2020Experience2of2 #TheTNKids,” referring to the album and his new fans, The Tennessee Kids (Justin hails from Memphis, TN).

JT also made the big announcement that he will be embarking on a world tour this fall. The North American leg will kick off on Oct. 31 in Montreal, and will hit 21 other cities.

The release of  The 20/20 Experience really showed how much fans missed JT! The album sold 968,000 copies its first week and becoming the fastest-selling album worldwide in iTunes history! So all the more reason for Justin to put out new music and head out to tour (as long as it’s quality work, which I’m sure it will be!). Gotta strike while the iron is hot!

I’m in love with the album, and can’t wait to see what else Justin comes up with this year!

Justin Timberlake Talks Being Married To Jessica Biel: He’s Smitten

1350564117_jessica-biel-justin-timberlake-article

After being asked by Ellen Degeneres what the best part of being married to Jessica Biel is, Justin Timberlake responded with a coy, “I don’t know”. It was almost like he was scared to divulge any personal feelings or evoke any sort of emotion for fear of revealing too much.

But then he elaborated, giving a little bit of what we all wanted to hear.

According to our friends at Hollywood Hiccups, he told Ellen, “Every once in a while I can catch a glimpse of her when she doesn’t see me looking, and I have this moment where I’m like, ‘If you never make a good decision…if you only make bad decisions for the rest of your life. You made one really good decision.”

He then earned himself a few extra brownie points (and probably a mattress mambo session) by adding, “Because she’s just like…it’s nice to marry your friend. It’s nice to marry your best friend…It suits me.”

See, now that wasn’t so bad was it, JT? It IS okay to be romantic and be proud of who you walked down the aisle with! (And, I am sure Jessica felt all warm and fuzzy inside too!)

Check out a recent photo of the married couple looking not-so-happy, but content here.

Justin Timberlake 20/20 Experience Release Date Announced!

justin-timberlake

He just released his first single Suit and Tie a few days ago and along with a lyric video came a release date…for his NEW album! That’s right, Justin Timberlake is set to release his brand new album The 20/20 Experience on March 19th!

It’s been a long-awaited comeback and I cannot wait to see the mayhem that ensues. Will there be a tour? Will there be major promotional appearances for this release?

At the end of his lyric video, J Tizzle said, “Back in June of last year, I quietly started working on what is now my next journey with that thing I love called music. The inspiration for this really came out of the blue, and to be honest, I didn’t expect anything out of it. I just went into the studio and started playing around with some sounds and songs.”

Suit and Tie features Jay-Z and is the lead single off of his new album. The single set a new chart record in the United States as the highest first week plays on American radio AND it became the highest debut for a male artist after it hit number 14 on Billboard’s Pop Songs chart.

Justin, we’ve missed you dahling! Now come show the music world who is boss.

For those of you who missed it…

Justin Timberlake Is Back With “Suit and Tie”

justin-timberlake

J-Tizzle is back. He brought back Sexy the last time and now, I guess he’s decided to throw on a Suit and Tie and use Jay-Z to bring the excitement (as if having JT back to the music scene isn’t enough!).

You can already buy Justin’s Timbaland-produced song on itunes! Um, did that, done that. DUH!

In an open letter on his official website, my man announced the big news. “This year is an exciting one for me. As you probably have heard through the ‘grapevine’, I’m gearing up for a big 2013. Back in June of last year, I quietly started working on what is now my next journey with that thing I love called music,” Timberlake said.

“The inspiration for this really came out of the blue, and to be honest, I didn’t expect anything out of it. I just went into the studio and started playing around with some sounds and songs.”

“It was probably the best time I’ve had in my career… Just creating with no rules and/or end goal in mind and really enjoying the process.

“What I came up with is something I couldn’t be more excited about! It is full of inspiration that I grew up listening to, and some newfound muses that I’ve discovered along the way. I’m calling it The 20/20 Experience, and it’s coming out this year.

“I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed making it.”

In other words, it’s going to be good. Damn good. Yay!

Check out Justin Timberlake’s Suit and Tie below!

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel: Wedding in Italy

Welp. My man J-Tizzle is officially off the market! For how long? I guess we’ll have to see how seriously Justin takes the commitment of marriage. But for now we say congratulations! Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel’s wedding went down in southern Italy after a week of festivities.

The couple jetted to Puglia earlier in the week, enjoyed a casual dinner party on Cala Masciola beach on Wednesday and married on Friday in front of friends and family including celebs Andy Samberg, Timbaland and Beverley Mitchell.

The couple announced the news in a statement to People.com saying, “It’s great to be married, the ceremony was beautiful and it was so special to be surrounded by our family and friends.”

According to the magazine,

The seaside event, which was decorated with lanterns, saw guests treated to food and cocktails as they listened to classic tracks including Marvin Gaye’s Let’s Get It On. The pre-wedding celebration also featured an impressive 10-minute fireworks display.

And in case you were wondering, People magazine will be publishing the wedding photos in next week’s issue. In other words, Tizzle and Biel are getting a big fat pay day!

Next up? Belly watch.

CELEB SPOTTING: Justin Timberlake, Jessica Biel and Guests at Pre-Wedding Dinner in Italy

Rumors are swirling that Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel are set to get married in Italy sometime this week, and it looks like it will be true!

On Wednesday, the couple hosted a party for over 50 guests in Puglia, Italy for a reported pre-wedding beach party dinner. Guests included
Justin’s “D–k in a Box” costar Andy SambergTimbaland, Jessica’s Seventh Heaven costar Beverley Mitchell (who herself wed in Italy), and music manager Johnny Wright. The party took place at Cala Masciola beach on the Adriatic Sea  Everybody enjoyed dinner, cocktails, and music by the water, and, later that night, got to see a spectacular fireworks display!

Us Weekly revealed recently that Jessica and Justin have FINALLY decided to tie the knot in Italy this week, taking “extra precautions” to keep the location and details on the hush! This is definitely a highly anticipated wedding, so I’m sure more details will be out about the nuptials soon!
