Celebrity Gossip Heard All Over The Web

John Mayer Who You Love Video Featuring Katy Perry

John Mayer’s Who You Love video is here and yes, it features his woman, lady love Katy Perry. Yes, they are in love and yes, they should have included the spoon to gag yourself with while watching. We kid. I do think it is cute that these two are dating and I hope it works out for both of them.

The video was directed by Sophie Muller (Rihanna’s Stay and Alicia Keys’ Girl on Fire) and she puts these two in each other’s arms crooning to each other. In addition the video also features other supposed real life couples riding a mechanical bull in the desert, because that’s what couples in love do.

Of the video, Mayer said, “We set up the casting call for real couples. There was nothing scripted in that video, except putting the bull in the middle of the desert.”

I love John Mayer and his music, but what the eff was he thinking with this song? Just throwing that out there.

Check out the John Mayer Who You Love video featuring Katy Perry above and let us know what you think. Do you think these two will last?

Katy Perry’s Roar Is Probably About John Mayer

Roar sounds more like an inspirational song than a lover scorned song, but contrary to belief, Katy Perry has hinted that her new single is about her now on again boyfriend John Mayer.

Perry revealed the track she wrote while reeling from a breakup and we can only believe that the guy is Mr. Mayer as he is the guy she has recently been linked to.

Perry tells BBC Radio 1, “Roar is a song I wrote as I was a little bit upset. I found myself having a break with my boyfriend, who I loved very much and it really hurt my heart. I said to myself, ‘I need to see what is going on with me and make sure I’m all good.’ When you break up with someone it’s easy to say they are crazy and think it’s all them, but, honestly, maybe there is 50 percent responsibility on your behalf. It was just time for me to be honest with myself.”

So, she is woman…hear her roar! That’s what I got out of the whole ordeal.

Mayer kicked off his first tour in three years last month, which marks his return after the recurrence of a throat granuloma forced him to cancel his tour in support of Born and Raised and take an indefinite hiatus from performing. The 40-stop U.S tour continues through early October, with support act Phillip Phillips (“Home,” “Gone, Gone, Gone”) for most U.S. shows.

Go take a listen and let me know what you think!

Katy Perry and John Mayer Split…Again

Katy Perry and John Mayer are over…yet again. At least, according to a source over at PEOPLE. The pair had been dating for the past seven months, which seemed like a fresh start for them.

The couple were first seen together last summer, less than a year after Katy and Russell Brand divorced. Katy and John split for a little while in August, but got back together quickly and seemed to be doing well. Guess not.

Last month, John was pretty happy about the relationship, calling it “very human” and even speculating on the idea of marriage. Wonder what could have happened. Oh well…on to the next!

John Mayer Is a Douche: Exhibit #623

If you placed a gun to my head and or threatened me with 48 hours of nonstop viewing of any Kardashian show (dis)gracing the E! Network (suck it, Ryan Seacrest – and you probably would, but I digress…), I could not name even two songs by John Mayer. But I could tell you about several of his dalliances with women in the world of entertainment and how he talks talks talks about them like an old lady strung out on Valium in a nursing home. Well, now it seems like yet another person is having it out with Mayer and this time, the big guns are coming out.

Enter Shooter Jennings.

Enter the epic verbal slap.

For those of you not in the know, Shooter Jennings is the son of country music legend Waylon Jennings (and husband of actress Drea de Matteo) and he is not one to shy away from the truth. And the truth is this, according to Jennings’ Twitter account…

“I love how the ‘neil young of our generation’ self-naming king douche grows his hair out + buys a place in Montana just to do [Rolling Stone] article. Claims he’s ‘done w hollywood game’ and has ‘roots’ and then immediately cuts hair, goes back to hollywood clubs + starts banging Katy Perry…And don’t anybody say he’s a great guitar player. Gary Clark Jr & [Lukas Nelson] wipes their asses with this dude.”

Not to be even more rude, but Katy Perry would bang anything with long dark hair, but I digress…

So from now on, we are to refer to Mayer as King Douche. And I, for one, have no problems with that.

Do you?

Katy Perry and John Mayer Break Up

After some summer loving, Katy Perry and John Mayer have called it quits. A source has confirmed to PEOPLE that the two are no longer dating.

“They’ll end up as friends,” the source said. “They were honestly having fun. People made it out to be far more than it was.”  The couple was seen canoodling at a bunch of different places including dinner at Chateau Marmont and a birthday party at a Hollywood talent agent’s home.

Another source said they seemed like a good match. “They almost acted like they’ve been a couple for a long time,” the source said. “It definitely didn’t seem like a new relationship.”

Katy, as we all know, was recently divorced from Russell Brand, and dated Florence + the Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd earlier this year.

Can’t say I’m all that surprised. As quick as the relationship came, that’s as quick as it left. Ehh, nothing wrong with a little summer romance though. Hope it was fun Katy!

John Mayer and Katy Perry Getting Hot and Heavy!

John Mayer may be known as the notorious douchebag of the entertainment industry, but for some reason he has been able to woo the hot women. Rumors have been swirling that Katy Perry and Johnny have been hanging out “casually” but at a pool party that took place in Beverly Hills on August 4th, the now inseparable duo were spotted openly kissing and cuddling. Sounds like things are casual no more! Yep, Katy Perry has succumbed to Johnny’s boyishly good looks and devilish charm. Ahem.

A source told Us Weekly, “They hugged each other and splashed around. They were all over each other, making out! Neither of them is exactly shy.”

I’m sure BOTH of them are enjoying the attention.

A source close to Katy is saying that although she doesn’t want to get her heart broken again, ironically she is “officially dating John, not just hooking up.” The source went on to add that “she feels a real connection and wants to see where things go.”

Check out pictures of the Katy and John flirting and getting hot in a pool together here.

Thoughts on these two together? Will they last or is Katy just setting herself up for major heartbreak?

John Mayer Was Humiliated By Taylor Swift’s “Dear John” Song

Boo freakin’ hoo.

John Mayer is now back in the limelight after hibernating after his media madness, you know his open mouth insert foot moments. Surely you remember the sexual napalm comments, the incessant mouth flapping about Jennifer Aniston and his lyrics directed at various women he’s bed in his life.

Well if you recall, Taylor Swift Stood up to Mayer who humiliated her and used her with a song titled “Dear John”. Even though the person was not named in the song lyrics and the “John” in the title was not revealed as an actual man named John, John Mayer took that as a jab at him and he more than likely was correct on that assumption. After hurting Swift, John got a dish of his own medicine with a song penned about him. In a new interview with Rolling Stone, Mayer said that the song “really humiliated” him and “made me feel terrible”. He also made a jab at Swift’s skills calling “Dear John” “cheap songwriting.”

The lyrics, if you recall, are as follows:

Dear John,
I see it all, now it was wrong
Don’t you think 19 is too young to be played by your dark twisted games, when I loved you so?
I should’ve known
All the girls that you run dry
with tired, lifeless eyes
cause you burned them out
But I took your matches before fire could catch me,
so don’t look now:
I’m shining like fireworks over your sad, empty town

And from what it sounds like, John was surprised to have a girl stand up to him. He added, “I was really caught off-guard, and it really humiliated me at a time when I’d already been dressed down. I mean, how would you feel if, at the lowest you’ve ever been, someone kicked you even lower?”

Anyone hear that? It’s the world’s smallest violin strumming in the background.

John Mayer Still Can’t Sing

John Mayer has made his first public appearance via media since…well…I can’t even remember. What I do remember is his idiotic Playboy interview but Mayer claims he is a changed man. In an exclusive appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Tuesday, May 15th Mayer opens up about why he took a break from the spotlight for the last two years and why he still can’t sing.

John: It was a really good time. I had to go home for a minute. The plan that originally gets you out high school and your hometown, in front of people. That plan was over. I had done it. I just sort of lost my head for a little while. I remember one time was I was a kid, I went swimming and I closed my eyes and I kept swimming and swimming and came up out of the water and I was way passed the buoys and the life guards were blowing me in.…I kind of lost touch and I didn’t want to ask for directions. I did a couple of some dumb interviews and it kind of woke me up.

Ellen: Is that what it is? The interviews? Because you got a lot of attention for the Playboy interview and I don’t know what else but is that when you kind of went, oh, you were not proud of that..

John: Oh yeah, I don’t even remember having a Rolling Stone cover. It was a very strange time and it sort of rocketed me into adulthood. It was a violent crash into being an adult. For a couple of years it was just figuring it all out and I’m glad I actually stayed out of the spotlight. Because I think back then I would of said, give me two weeks or like let me get out and do “Ellen” and let me explain myself. It was like no, idiot. Go away be 33 and 34 instead of 28 for the 4th year…

John: I can’t sing so I’m writing.

Ellen: You sound fine so what’s wrong with you?

John:…it’s a thing in my throat. It’s not a health concern what so ever but it has taken me out of signing. Tried to beat it the first time and couldn’t. What they actually do is they cut this thing out of your throat and then they inject your vocal cords with botox which freezes your vocal cords so that this thing can heal with out smacking up against the other side. I just need more botox next time. So I got to do it all over again get more botox which kind of paralyzes for vocal cord for longer. I’m very happy to be a writer, really lucky to be a write.

Karma sure is a bitch!

Is John breaking up with Twitter?

[picappgallerysingle id=”8548313″]

John Mayer claims Twitter ain’t shit. Who was there for John in times of need? Twitter. Who was there to help him relieve his douchebaggery? Twitter. Who helped him express his ridiculousness of fans in Australia who claimed outrage at Britney Spears lip-syncing during concerts? Twitter. Who helped him generate publicity in times of need? Twitter.

Well now, it seems John is going to be done. Not only did he dump Jessica and Jennifer, he’s dumping Twitter.
