Celebrity Gossip Heard All Over The Web

Selena Gomez Says She and Justin Don’t “Focus On The Attention” From Public

Selena-Gomez

Selena Gomez is on a big fat promotional tour for her new music and she just landed the cover of InStyle magazine’s June issue for 2013. In the issue’s interview, Sell Bell chats about her fashion line, her new music and yes, Justin Bieber (of course!). Check out the highlights of the interview below.

On dating Justin Bieber:
“It’s uncomfortable that everywhere I go, people know. I don’t like that. But Justin and I never really focused on the attention. You can’t help who you date. So I wouldn’t swear off that or say that’s what I want again.”

On mending a broken heart:
“I’m a kid, and a breakup is normal. I have to go through the emotions and feel it out. I’m doing my own thing, being with friends, and he [Justin] is doing very well too.”

On her song “Love Will Remember” about her breakup with Bieber:
“That’s the most personal track on the record, for sure. I think it’s a sweet way of releasing it. It’s not an aggressive approach to what people are probably expecting. I’m sure he’ll love it too.”

On her clothing line “Dream Out Loud”:
“I remember I was younger and kids in school would be wearing $40 sweaters and other things I couldn’t buy. I wanted to make a line that was super cute and affordable, things a 12-year-old could wear and I could wear too. I like to wear things that are fitted because they give me more shape. I like to show a little bit of skin in a nice way. The idea of trying to get on a best-dress list stresses me out. I’m so nervous. I love picking out clothes and it would be a blast to just play dress-up all the time.”

Halle Berry’s Hair Has Secrets

Halle Berry may have plenty of damn drama in her personal life but I can tell you right now, that doesn’t stop her from posing on the cover of magazines looking fine, fierce as hell and ready to poke your got damn eye out.

For the 2012 November issue of InStyle magazine, Halle Berry graces the cover and sits down to chat about marriage, aging and her hairstyle.

On her fiance Olivier Martinez:

“When I first met Olivier, there wasn’t the initial ‘I’m in love!’ It was something that grew more gradually—and it feels more real because of that. [Marriage] is another one of those never-say-never things. I’m a hopeless romantic, and I won’t stop till I get it right!”

On aging in Hollywood:

“Throughout my career I have been talked out of things I wanted to do, and when I look back I think, I should have followed my instincts. I relied on others to guide me because I thought they knew better. But as I’ve gotten older, I’ve learned to trust myself. Don’t stress about your age or fight it. Appreciate the young women who look like you once did, but don’t strive to be like them. You’re moving into a new phase of your life—embrace it. That’s what I hope to do.”

On not being defined by her hairstyle:

“I think I am at my best when my hair is short. It’s easier to take care of and more of who I am. Women are conditioned to think we need long hair. I see that happening with my daughter. She is so in love with her hair right now. She says, ‘Look, Mommy—it’s so long!” As women, we think it defines us, and we learn that at a young age.”

Cameron Diaz Doesn’t Care What you Have To Say About Her

Translation: She cares.

Cameron Diaz is promoting her new flick What to Expect When You’re Expecting and this time she’s got herself the May 2012 issue of Instyle magazine cover. And I must say it is refreshing to see that InStyle’s photoshopping department didn’t airbrush the hell out of those wrinkles. Even though they are definitely minimized, they ARE there. Kudos Instyle, kudos.

Now onto the juicy stuff. In the interview, even though she doesn’t talk about her Ciroc induced trysts with Diddy, she does talk about friendship, love, having kids and turning 40. Yes, she will be 40 real quick.

Check out the highlights below:

ON HER APPROACH TO LIFE:

“I’m living my life as a journey. My quest is to make it better every year.”

ON MOVIES:

“What I love about movies is how many people they can reach. I don’t make a movie because I think, This is something I want to say. I just want people to laugh, to cry, to feel.”

ON FRIENDSHIP:

“Good friendship is basic: Be good to one another, be thoughtful, enrich one another’s lives. I learn so much from my girlfriends, and I love it.”

INSTYLE MAGAZINE: Jennifer Aniston Talks Laser Porn and Justin Theroux

Jennifer Aniston covers InStyle US magazine for the March issue and talks about several fun little topics including her consistent boyfriend Justin Theroux, her style (geez, it IS a magazine about style, people) and she even reveals the biggest misconception about her. And yes, she can’t escape Brangelina and probably never will.

Check out the highlights from the interview below.

n an interview with InStyle US magazine’s March issue the 43-year-old actress spoke out about the speculations and rumours surrounding herself and Brangelina.
When asked what the most annoying misconception is about her she said: ‘Which one? There are so many. I would say the triangle with my ex-husband – and that there’s a feud there. It’s constant. It’s a story headline that won’t go away, but it’s a money thing – (people make money off) a story that has nothing to do with reality.’

ON WHAT SHE LOOKS FOR IN A PARTNER:

“Having experienced everything you don’t want in a partner over time, it starts to narrow down what you actually do want.”

ABOUT DRESSING MATCHY MATCHY WITH HER BOYFRIEND JUSTIN THEROUX:

“He has great style – it’s very specific, and it has been his style forever. Has it influenced mine? No, but I know people say it has. ‘Oh, look, you’re dressing alike.’ And I think, no I’m not. I’ve had this jacket for three years!”

ON HER CULINARY SKILLS:

“I’d love to say I’m an accomplished cook, but I don’t have any signature dishes. I’m good at breakfast – I make great eggs. My father gave me a little recipe. It’s all in the seasoning. But it’s a Greek secret. I won’t give it away!”

ON WHAT CAREER SHE’D PICK IF SHE HAD TO CHANGE:

“Directing. I was very proud of producing and directing for the beautiful project ‘Five.’ Or I’d love to be a dermatologist. I’d be so obsessive about it. I’m fascinated by skin, products, and lasers. I go on the Internet and read all about it. I call it ‘laser porn.'”

ON THE BIGGEST RISK SHE’S TAKEN IN LIFE:

“I’m not sure. Just walking out of the house can be a risk!”

Her response will be no surprise to fans and the denim-loving star said: ‘I feel sexy in my jeans and my boyfriend’s T-shirt’.

ON THE MOST ANNOYING MISCONCEPTION ABOUT HER:

“Which one? There are so many. I would say the triangle with my ex-husband – and that there’s a feud there. It’s constant. It’s a story headline that won’t go away, but it’s a money thing – [people make money off] a story that has nothing to do with reality.”
