Pop sensation JUSTIN BIEBER makes an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Friday, December 14th. Ellen gets Justin thoughts on this year’s Grammy nominations. Plus, Justin reveals his new tattoo and the story behind the overalls he wore for his meet & greet with the Prime Minster of Canada.

ON THE GRAMMY NOMINATIONS:

Ellen: So let’s talk about the Grammys. I know that’s important to you. Was that a big bummer for you that you weren’t nominated?

Justin: A big bummer, I would say that it’s definitely, I was looking forward to but I know it will happen one day…

Ellen: It will happen one day.

Justin: I’m so young. I’m only 18. I’m just blessed to be able to do what I love everyday. And the AMAs was a lot of fun for me so..

Ellen: Yeah, they were amazing.

Justin: Hopefully, one day.

Ellen: But it’s good it gives you something…you have so much that comes to you. You’re so successful. It’s good to have something…to have a goal, right.

Justin: Right, of course.

Ellen: So you’re going to keep working and you’re going to be nominated for many, many Grammys to come. You’re very young , like you said.

ON MEETING ON THE PRIME MINISTER OF CANADA IN HIS OVERALLS:

Ellen: So you met the Canadian Prime Minster and you got a lot of attention for that . Which is kind of crazy, right. You’re like in the middle of a meet & greet

Justin: Yeah, I’m in a meet and greet.

Ellen: And then you meet the Prime Minister. And you were criticized because you were dressed like that.

Justin: Yes, in overalls.

Ellen: Overalls, right. But you were doing…

Justin: I was at my concert. That was at…. I was doing like a meet and greet. Meeting all my fans and stuff and he came to venue where I was performing.

Ellen: That was at your venue?

Justin: That was at my venue, yeah.

Ellen: He brings flags with him?

Justin: Yeah, they brought them.

Ellen: Well, that’s not fair because it looks like you went to his office dressed like that. But he brought flags to make it look like you’re under dressed. That’s not fair.

Justin: I know it wasn’t fair but that was really my event….I really promise if I would of went to his environment. I would have been all done up.

Ellen: I know because I know you…

Justin: I had overalls…It looks bad…but it’s not.

Ellen: I’m going to make sure that never happens again because Overalls are cool…

Drew Barrymore Vadge Just May Be A Clown Car

Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres welcomes DREW BARRYMORE on Thursday, December 6th, in her first talk show appearance since the birth of her daughter, Olive. Drew talks about being a new mom, how she came up with the name Olive and how her 10 week old daughter is really impressing her.

Check out the highlights from the interview below.

ON MOTHERHOOD:

Ellen: …I’m happy you got married. It’s the best thing in the world that you’re in love and happy so, congratulations on that.

Drew: I’m so lucky. It’s amazing. I never take it for granted.

Ellen: That’s a fantastic thing in and of itself and then you have a little baby. How old is your baby now?

Drew: She is actually 10 weeks today. I know, I can’t even handle it. It’s hurts…

Ellen: And, you didn’t bring her here? I was hoping you would bring her.

Drew: I know that should have been the surprise.

Ellen: Yes, I should of seen the baby. How do you even leave her? It must be so hard.

Drew: It’s awful. I didn’t like leaving today at all. I dance and jump up and down for her a lot and I have this routine where I’m like, bye, ok I’ll be right back..she just you know (reenacts the baby’s look.) There is nothing greater in the world. I live, I exercise my right every second of everyday to make her laugh and smile and she’s a really happy baby.

Ellen: Oh, that’s good.

Drew: She’s so nice.

Ellen: And her name?

Drew: Olive.

Ellen: Her name is Olive, which I love that name.

Drew: I love that name.

Ellen: I do too. How did you come up with Olive?

Drew: I never would of guessed that would of been the name. But I was reading a book with my husband. I was three months pregnant and they said your baby is the size of an Olive and that was it. We never looked back.

Ellen: It could have been the size of a peanut or a grapefruit…

Drew: It could have been. It was a lot fruit and vegetables

Ellen: It could have been names kidney bean?

Drew: Kidney’s not such a fun name.

Ellen: Olive’s great. Did you have another one in mind and then you just all the sudden changed it to Olive?

Drew: We were work shopping a few, as all people do who are so blessed to get to do this do. And then once the light was shed. There was just no turning back.

Ellen: Did you try and wait or did you know it was a girl? Did you want to know a head of time?

Drew: Yeah, I figured there’s so many surprises to come…Every phase of her life that I will be trying to master. There are plenty of surprises.

Ellen: And you were telling me back stage that she’s good. And sleeps and she’s a good baby.

Drew: She is a good baby.

Ellen: You’re lucky, That’s really great.

Drew: I know, I count my lucky stars every day because she is…and really interactive and happy and like nice to people. She’s a nice person.

Ellen: How nice can she be to people? She’s 10 weeks old.

Drew: She is selling it. She is working it….It’s so great.

Ellen: No, after you please…

Drew: She will be that way. Gratitude and manners is key.

Ellen: I bet you’re teaching her that.

Drew: I am.

Ellen: I’m just saying that you’re kind of a little bit crazy right now…(Laughing)

Drew: You and my husband. He will so happy to hear you say this, wherever he is watching.

Ellen: She’s only ten weeks old but you’re lucky..Because you hear stories like that…she’s so good and she sleeps all night. You’re the people that lure other people in and they’re like my baby doesn’t do that.

Drew: …I will say Olive is a definite ambassador to having lots of babies. I have met babies who are screaming and they’re crying and they’re trying to convey all these things and you get so terrified and overwhelmed. I’ m very grateful to her. She really has it together…She’s really impressing me..

Ellen: Again, to say she has it together…Again,is a bit premature…

We’re all waiting for an announcement, girl!

Ellen: We’ll show pictures.

Taylor: I don’t know if I’m going to do this.

Ellen: Yeah, you will.

Taylor: This is the one thing that I have. The one shred of dignity that I have is that I know…

Ellen: What do you mean one shred of dignity you’re filled with dignity?

Taylor: But people go and makes guesses about it and the only thing that I have is that one card.

Taylor: I don’t want to.

Ellen: I’ll hold it for you….

Ellen rings the bell…..

Taylor: This makes be feel so bad about my self. Every time I come here you put like a different dude up there on the screen. And it just makes me really question like what I stand for as a human being. There’s never been two guys on the screen two visits in a row. It’s sad….

Taylor: Like two months. Just come back twice…

Ellen: Just so you can go. He’s still there. Still that guy…

Oprah: #1 on Forbes Again!

Just because you don’t see Oprah Winfrey every day on daytime television, doesn’t mean that train has stopped in its tracks. If anything, that locomotive is doing just fine, thank you very much.

Forbes magazine, which annually releases a list of Hollywood’s highest paid women, has just announced their latest, and as has been the case for many years, media mogul Oprah Winfrey yet again claimed the top spot, collecting approximately $165 million dollars between May 2011 and May 2012. Winfrey was so far ahead of the rest of the pack that she could not even smell the Cheetos and Frappucino elixir of the #2 woman on the list – poptrick Britney Spears, who Audiotuned her way with $58 million dollars.

As Oprah screamed from the rooftops “I got this” at the other, less fortunate women on the list, there are a few notables present that may surprise many.

Pop singer Taylor Swift made the list in third place, making her the youngest person on the list. Swift whined her way all the way to the tune of $57 million. Others on the list included pop singer Rihanna, Ellen Degeneres, Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Gisele Bündchen, and Judge Judy, who closed out the top 10 with $45 million.

Talk about girl power!

Ellen: Good to know.

Jennifer: You never don’t know. You just have a look at him..anyway…

ON HAVING A BABY BOY:

Ellen: Can you already see a difference in him being a boy? Were they different at 7 months?

Jennifer: I mean, they didn’t pee in my eye. I don’t know if it’s because he’s a boy. I don’t know if it’s because he’s my third and I forget that I have him…You know you’re just dealing with two and then you think, I put a baby down. I swear I put a baby down somewhere.. And you kind of walk through the house. There you are and he’s just happy as can be.

Ellen: Wow, you’re not coming off a good parent (laughing)

Jennifer: Is someone going to show up at my house?

Ellen: There may be child services tomorrow at your house…(joking.) So he’s good?

Jennifer: He’s so chill and mellow. He’s really, really, really..he’s sweet.

Ellen: Until he starts running around…

Jennifer: He’s perfect right now because he doesn’t move. But he sleeps pretty well. He reaches when he sees me and he laughs a lot. He thinks I’m super funny. What more do you want….

No Doubt’s Gwen Stefani Thinks Her Boys Are going to Be Rock Stars

“NO DOUBT” makes an exclusive appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Tuesday, September 25th. Ellen talks with the band about recording their new album “Push and Shove.” Plus, Gwen talks about her boys and how her youngest son, Zuma likes to play guitar and he even joined the band for sound check.

Check out the highlights and a clip below.

ON RECORDING THEIR NEW ALBUM AND HAVING KIDS:

Ellen: So when you’re recording now, you all have kids. Are they at the studio? Is it whole different experience recording now?

Gwen: It was challenging. We would get together like three times a week and I tried all versions, where I would be like oh, today I’m going to bring them with me. And that didn’t work. And then I’d go okay, today I’m not going to see them and then I’ll work all day and then I’ll be with them tomorrow. It was just chaos trying to figure it all out. Which is one of the reasons it took as long as it did. Because I have to do that and I want to do that. But Zuma is here today and he’s okay, right? He’s chill.

Tony: He’s having fun.

Gwen: He played sound check with us so…

Ellen: He’s calmer here than at my house, by the way.

Gwen: At her house he was dunking his head in a bucket of ice water…

ON ZUMA AND KINGSTON’S MUSICAL ABILITIES:

Ellen: …Zuma and Kingston, are they musical?

Gwen: Zuma is the one who is showing more interest in the guitar. But since he was tiny he always played the guitar. I mean he doesn’t really play the guitar but he thinks he does.

LA Reid Likes Working With Britney, Happy She’s “Responsive”

X-Factor” judge, L.A. REID makes an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Wednesday, September 19th. Ellen talks with L.A about working with fellow judge, Britney Spears and reveals that passing on Lady Gaga was one of the biggest mistakes of his life. Check out the highlights below. He sounds REAL thrilled he is working with Britney. I hope you sense the sarcasm.

ON WORKING WITH BRITNEY:

Ellen: …Which is why you’re trying to help these people. And when they’re good at something you encourage it and when they’re not you say, stop doing it.

L.A.: Exactly

Ellen: And how is it working with Britney so far?

Ellen: Ah, It’s wonderful.

Ellen: Why are you making that face?

LA : (Laughs)…I really enjoy working with Britney. I mean, she’s really responsive and it’s good.

Ellen: Responsive? Well, that’s good. That’s not really a compliment.

LA: No, it’s good. I’m having fun with her…

ON HIS BIGGEST REGRET:

Ellen: Like I said, you’ve been responsible for a lot of careers. A lot of big careers and one regret you have is …

LA: I like this. Everyone has to have one regret, right?

Ellen: This is like, you have to look at this and oh, go man. Lady Gaga. How did she get out of my office?

LA: Wow, I have to tell the story. So Lady Gaga comes into my office. She sits at the piano. She has white Go-go boots up to her thighs, right. And she is unbelievable. She sits there and she plays songs on the piano and sings and she finishes. And I tell her, you know what, you are going to change music, right. Ok, about two months later I forgot that I said that. And I heard her demo tapes and the A&R guy that was working on it and I said you know what? This is disgusting and you’re disgusting and I dropped her and I dropped him…It was the biggest mistake I ever made in my life.

Ellen: Wow, because you have to have people around you reminding you no, no. This is just maybe not a great demo tape. There is more to her but…

LA: Yea, it’s not for everybody. Gaga is better off where she is, right. She’s hugely successful the truth is…and it may not be the truth but it makes me feel better. To think that she probably won’t have been as successful with me….so it’s ok

Ellen: Well, because every label has a specialty. Some labels are better for certain artists, right?

L.A.: Exactly right. It’s really people, people and chemistry.

Kellie Pickler Was Worried She Was Going To Have a Big Fat Wart On Her Bald Head

Kellie Pickler sat down with Ellen DeGeneres for her first interview since shaving her head with her best friend who was diagnosed with breast cancer. Check out the highlights below.

ON WHY SHE SHAVED HER HEAD WITH HER BEST FRIEND:

Kellie: When Summer (her best friend) was diagnosed with breast cancer back in June. We made a pact that we would shave our heads together. I think last thing that you want (for) anyone that you love to feel like… is that you don’t want them to walk through the valley alone. They need to know that. I think it’s important to have a cancer buddy. I guess you could say. That’s what everyone ‘s been calling us is cancer buddies. Oh, there we are (watching video)

Ellen: So you did it at the same time? Or who went first?

Kellie: I went first and… there’s actually a funny picture of her jumping up out of the chair running out and saying she’s not going to do this. So I um, I tackled her. No…it was honestly. That is probably one of the most beautiful moments of my life. Just being able to do that with her. A lot of people don’t know this but my grandmother passed away with cancer. It was a different type of cancer but she passed away the very next morning after being diagnosed.

Ellen: Wow.

Kellie: So there was never the journey I guess you could say of going through. What follows cancer chemo and all of that…

Ellen: Has she (Summer) started Chemo yet?

Kellie: She just started Chemo last week and she’s doing good of course, it’s hard. It’s hard on your body. It’s hard on your mind. It’s not an easy thing to go through. But she’s a strong woman and she’s handled it with such grace.

Kellie: I was able to be with her for first chemo treatment which was important I think for both of us because like I said, she’s my big sister. She really is. We’re not blood kin but we are sisters. I don’t think blood makes you family but I don’t know. I’m happy to have been able to do this with her.

Ellen: Wow, well you’re a good friend.

Kelly: Its just hair…you know…

Ellen: And, you look great…

Kellie: I will be honest with you. I was a little nervous and she was too. We were both a little nervous hope we don’t have some crazy birthmark or a wart or a mole…or something until you shave your head….

Bethenny Frankel Pulls In Big Superstar For Her Talk Show

Bethenny Frankel was able to get a big star for her new talk show “bethenny” but it wasn’t too hard to land her since she was the one to get her the show.

On Tuesday, June 12th, Frankel is joined by Ellen DeGeneres on Tuesday, June 12th as part of premiere week on “bethenny.” The fellow talk show hosts chat about recently attending an event with President Obama and Ellen gives the scoop on wife Portia de Rossi’s new haircut and new tattoo!

ON ATTENDING EVENTS WITH PRESIDENT OBAMA:

Bethenny: I know you were at an event with Obama who’s supporting gay marriage.

Ellen: Yes, I got to say, I liked President Obama before and I said to him…thank you so much for what you’ re doing. He said, I’m just doing the right thing. I said, I know you are doing the right thing.

Bethenny: I went up to him (President Obama) and you get a card and you get your picture taken and I said to him, you know, just a couple of things and then I said, I’m doing a talk show with Ellen DeGeneres and he’d been at your event which 700 people and then was at my event that probably had 70 people. He spoke for like an hour and as he’s leaving. He speaks to everybody and he goes like this (points to Bethenny) Good Luck. I was like, I can’t even believe that he remembered that I said I’m doing a show with Ellen. So I had a moment with the President saying good luck on your talk show….It was the most unbelievable thing…

ON WIFE PORTIA DE ROSSI’S NEW HAIR CUT AND TATTOO:

Bethenny: The real news is that Portia cut her hair.

Ellen: She cut her hair.

Bethenny: Were you part of the decision?

Ellen: No, no, I support whatever she decides do to but it is a brand new haircut. She was so upset we got paparazzi the other day and she was like, couldn’t of been at an event when it was done and everything…

Bethenny: But that is so cute, that hair.

Ellen: It’s adorable.

Bethenny: I want to cut my hair. I feel like woman hide behind their hair. You say when I get pregnant I’m going to cut my hair. When I lose weight I’m going to cut my hair. When I get a talk show I’m going to cut my hair. I still haven’t done it.

Ellen: She wanted to do it for a long time and she grew up modeling and of course you’re supposed to have long hair…Everyone told her never to cut her hair. I think it just got to be part of her. She always had long hair. She really, really wanted to do it for a long time and decided to. She got a tattoo recently and that opened the door to everything…

Bethenny: Piercings?

Ellen: Oh, piercings (joking) no. She got a tiny little tattoo (on her wrist.) It’s a brand of her horse. It’s a Hanoverian. Not my name, it’s her horse (sarcastically.) Then she decided to get her haircut and everybody was like oh, you’re going to regret it. It’s adorable and I love it.

Bethenny: She feels liberated?

Ellen: She loves it. Everybody loves it…

Bethenny Frankel Gets Talk Show Advice From Ellen

Bethenny Frankel makes an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Tuesday, May 29th and Ellen gives Bethenny advice on how to become a successful host for her upcoming talk show, “bethenny,” premiering on June 11th on select fox owned and operated stations, including NY and LA.

ON HER NEW TALK SHOW:

Ellen: My advice to you is to be yourself. Not be what you think a talk show host should be or what you’ve seen a talk show host be because the way that you’re going to be successful is by being someone that they haven’t seen before. You don’t want to try and copy a format.

Bethenny: I agree with that.

Ellen: I think you need to have fun and genuinely because the audience can sense when you’re having fun. The audience can sense if you’re being authentic so you just be your self. You know you are very outspoken, which is why I think you’re going to be great for television. You have strong opinions and I think people will relate to that or disagree but it will be a discussion. I think you’re going to be great.

Bethenny: Thank you. I appreciate it.

Will you be watching “Bethenny”???

Jennifer Lopez and Cameron Diaz Don’t Hate Each Other

Jennifer Lopez and Cameron Diaz stopped by the Ellen DeGeneres Show TOGETHER (yes, they were in the same room on the SAME couch) to promote their new comedy What To Expect When You’re Expecting. And apparently contrary to reports, J.Lo and Cam Cam may have both boned Diddy, but they don’t have hate for each other, or at least they aren’t going to admit it.

In other words, that rumor of a J.Lo/Cam cat fight is not true.

Cameron: They made (rumors) up about us on this movie. The fact that we wouldn’t talk to each other and there were all these cat fights…

Jennifer: I was like, I haven’t even seen her yet…give us a chance to get in the room…

Ellen: …That’s what I was going to say, there were all these rumors that you didn’t get along.

Cameron: It’s always like that. They want woman to be cat fighting. We live in such a misogynistic, chauvinistic, especially the media itself.. Always spinning woman against one another..

Ellen: They don’t say that about men.

Cameron: It’s like sword fighting. Doesn’t happen.

Well after this movie, these two can go back to hating each other.

Jennifer Love Hewitt Wants Adam Levine Badly

Jennifer Love Hewitt stopped by The Ellen Degeneres Show today to promote her saucy show The Client List but instead of the show we get to hear about J-Love’s single life and what Hollywood star she would like to date.

Ellen: Are you in a relationship, right now?

Jennifer: I am not. I am very single.

Ellen: You’re very single. Is that good, very single?

Jennifer: It’s good. Yes, it is. It’s good.

Ellen: Do you have you’re eye on anybody?

Jennifer: Well, yeah, I always have my eyes out… I just read two days ago that Adam Levine is single again…I’m just saying.

Ellen pretends to call him…

Jennifer: Look, we would be cute…

Ellen: Next time I see him… He’s just a hot guy in general…

Let me just say that Adam Levine would be a step up from other guys she dated. Remember her and Carson Daly? Good gawd but I guess he was kind of cool when he was doing TRL. Ok, maybe not. He was downright corny as hell.

So I guess I sort of approve of J-Love with Adam Levine, although ultimately I see that ending badly.

ON NEW ORLEANS AND “MAKE IT RIGHT”:

Ellen: Let me start from the beginning. Lets start from when you first fell in love with New Orleans. Where were you? What year?

Brad: Early 90’s and it was a bit of a blur because New Orleans will do that to you.

Ellen: I don’t remember last night.

Brad: Yeah I understand. I fell in love with the place. The people. The music. It’s in the air. It’s something you can’t describe on camera.

Ellen: It’s just got to make you feel so good that you’re doing this and that everybody’s saying, thank you.

Brad: I know but I’m getting far too much credit for this. This took a lot of very smart people coming in and attacking the situation. It took the families determined to come back and their resilience and they’re defining what this thing was going to be. I get far too much credit for bringing some really smart people together.

ON HAVING A FUTURE ARCHITECT IN THE FAMILY:

Ellen: Obviously you’re an example for your children. Do you think anyone’s going to end up in design in architecture?

Brad: I think I got one.

Ellen: Really?

Brad: Yeah.

Ellen: You’ve got to be happy about that.

Brad: Yeah, I’m pushing them that way.

Ellen: That’s like anathlete wanting their kid to be….

Brad: A little bit. When you see them drawing crayon houses. That’s a beautiful house, honey. Just keep pushing them..

Ellen: What if the elevation was like this…

Brad: The door proportion wise was just over to the left….
