Drake just won’t let it lie but I guess he can’t help it if he gets asked about Breezy and Rih. Sure he and Chris Brown aren’t fighting it up in clubs anymore but there is still some tension between the artists and I can bet you after hearing this news Breezy is going to blow a gasket.
On Friday, Drake slammed Brown on East Village Radio’s “Keep It Thoro” show and made it clear he didn’t want to hear anymore about Brown and his antics.
He told interviewer Elliott Wilson, “Don’t ask me s-t about that man when I come up there. Leave that man alone. Stop preying on his insecurities. His insecurities are the fact that I make better music than him. I’m more poppin’ than him.” Ouch.
But he didn’t stop there. He went in and threw another dagger, relating to his time with Rihanna.
“At one point in life, the woman that he loves fell into my lap. I did what a real n—a would do and treated her with respect. She’s not up there talking down on me.”
Then he went onto make fun of Brown’s musical talent.
“I don’t want to hear that man rap,” Drake said. “Nobody wants to hear me rap against him. I really do this s-t. Let him put out that, whatever, ‘Project X’ or whatever he’s working on and I’m going to put out that real s-t for the people. Nothing good can come out of that situation.”
Brown hasn’t “officially” responded to Drake’s slam, but he did take to his Twitter to tweet, “Lol”.
The good news is that Drake isn’t letting the drama get to him. “I’m not thinking about that man at all, or that girl, straight up,” Drake told Wilson. “My life has moved on.”
