Celebrity Gossip Heard All Over The Web

Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg Snag Reality Show

Is television ready for Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg together? We’re going to have to be, because the couple just snagged a reality show!

The newlyweds will appear in an unscripted series, titled Donnie Loves Jenny, as a part of a 10-episode reality show deal with A&E (which is also network to Wahlburgers, a show about Donnie’s family and their restaurant). The show will follow them in their new journey as husband and wife–the good, the bad, and the downright ugly.

Jenny and Donnie released a statement saying:

“Not only have we found a new home together, we have found the perfect place for our exciting new projects to live with A&E Network. We’re so excited about this deal and look forward to a long and successful relationship creating entertaining and provocative unscripted programming with our partners at A&E. Our feeling is, who better to make our first show for the network about than about us? We love working together and with our crazy schedules this gives us the chance to both work and play together.”

The two will serve as co-producers, and their premiere episode features scenes from their August wedding at the Hotel Baker near Chicago!

Good for them! I might just have to tune in!

Donnie Wahlberg Finds Missing Wedding Ring in the Sheets

Via Wonderwall MSN:

Single no more! Donnie Wahlberg and Jenny McCarthy, who tied the knot in August, are in newlywed bliss — especially after finding her wedding ring! After admitting she lost her 10-carat yellow sapphire sparkler, the “Blue Bloods” and New Kid on the Block hunk tells Wonderwall.com that the ring has been found. As he gears up to host and showcase photography at Canon’s PIXMA PRO City Senses Pop-Up Gallery in Boston on Sept. 17, Donnie chatted about locating Jenny’s ring, their favorite sleeping position, and if they plan to have more kids.

ON LOSING JENNY’S WEDDING RING:

“We lost it for about two hours. We found it. It was in the bed sheets. It was off because the diamonds scrape a little bit and she doesn’t like scraping me and it was private time. She thought she put it on the nightstand. I thought she put it in the bed and sure enough it was in the sheet. My detective work from ‘Blue Bloods’ panned out and it was down in the laundry room of the hotel.”

ON SEARCHING THE LAUNDRY ROOM FOR HER RING:

“I literally tore the hotel room apart and I went down to hotel security and they went down to the laundry room and found it.”

ON A HONEYMOON:

“We had a brief couple days in Chester, NY at our favorite place in the world called Glenmere Mansion. We’re both working a lot. Jenny is preparing for her new Sirius gig and it was also Evan, Jenny’s son and my stepson’s first day of school the Tuesday after the wedding. We had to get right back into life. We’ll have a real honeymoon later. Not much later. She’s not the type to wait 10 years for anything. She’s going to make us have one real soon.”

ON HOME LIFE:

“When we sleep we have pretty much one sleeping position, which is her head on my chest, wrapped in my arms, snuggled up on my left side. We don’t move. We fall asleep and six hours later wake up in the exact same position. I’ve never slept flat on my back my entire life since this relationship. It’s really a fun thing. It’s amazing to wake up to her every morning and be intertwined.”

ON KIDS:

“I have two boys. She has one boy. We’re all done.”

ON WHETHER HE HAD A CRUSH ON JENNY BACK IN THE 80’S OR 90’S:

“Not really. I didn’t really pay much attention to her. She’s said that I was her favorite New Kid. Obviously I was aware of who she was and I watched ‘Singled Out.’ I thought she was gorgeous. But I’m grateful. I wasn’t ready be married and be in the situation that I am with her now. Nor was she, so I think it worked out perfectly. We met exactly when we were supposed to and we went on our first date exactly when we were supposed to and it’s all turned out to be wonderful. She’s the love of my life and I’m really happy.”

ON JENNY’S STRONG PERSONALITY:

“I like to think that I have a pretty strong personality too. I think we’re very similar. It doesn’t feel like she’s a stronger personality to me. But for me being the guy, she’s never really had anyone help out. When we drop Evan off at school now it’s like, ‘Hey, wait a minute.’ She’s loosened up the reins a little bit. And I’ve always said that the girl that I’m with has to allow me to stop outside of a hotel and take 50 pictures with my fans. Well, Jenny will stop and take 100. Ironically, my ego was confronted. But it’s even better to have somebody who will do it with you. Now we have someone who is like a mirror reflection and it’s like, it’s not scary. It’s a good thing.”

ON WHETHER THERE WILL BE ANY PHOTOS OF JENNY IN HIS EXHIBIT:

“The pictures I take of my wife are for me exclusively. The pictures [in the gallery] represent my take on my upbringing in Boston. One of the pictures specifically, it’s a little kid playing in a fountain at the Christian Science Center in Boston. In looking at the pictures, I am standing behind my brother Mark when he was two or three years old in his diaper with no shirt on, being the future Calvin Klein model playing in the fountain. I was right behind him looking after him.”

Donnie Wahlberg Knew He Wanted to Propose to Jenny McCarthy Two Months Into Dating

Donnie Wahlberg may be an engaged man now, but apparently he knew the whole time that he wanted to be with Jenny McCarthy for life!

Via our friends at Extra:

“Extra” was with Donnie Wahlberg in his hometown of Boston as he cheered on the runners at the 2014 Boston Marathon, including his brother, Jim.

Wahlberg opened up for the first time about his engagement to Jenny McCarthy, saying he knew he wanted to propose shortly after he and “The View” co-host began dating. “Probably planned it about two months into us dating, but things take time and I just waited until the moment was right.”

Wahlberg thought the engagement wasn’t exactly a surprise for Jenny. “I don’t know if it was a surprise… it might’ve been a race because she kept threatening to propose to me. Not to make me do it, she just wanted to get engaged, so did I it first. I’m a little old-fashioned. I wasn’t going to let her get on one knee.”

The two haven’t started the wedding planning just yet. “No details yet. We’ll do it when it’s right, but so far everything is awesome.”

As for being at the marathon, Donnie called it, “overwhelming.” He said it was a “very proud day for Boston and America.”

Donnie’s brother Jim will join the A&E family reality show “The Wahlburgers” next season.

Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg Engaged!

Looks like Jenny McCarthy is headed down the aisle again! She announced on The View today, April 16, that she is getting married to boyfriend  Donnie Wahlberg.

“I just got engaged!” she told her co-hosts and audience members. Flashing her yellow sapphire ring, Jenny revealed that her son Evan helped out with the surprise proposal last weekend. Donnie popped up on the show too, doting on his fiancee! The couple doesn’t have a date set yet, but they’re thinking about a late summer wedding in August 2015.

It was announced in July last year that the pair were officially dating. This will be the second marriage for both. Congrats to them…they seem really happy! Offering up best wishes!

In other news for The View, in honor of Barbara Walters‘ last week on the show, ALL 11 hosts are heading back to the table on May 15. That’s :

Meredith Vieira (moderator, 1997–2006, season 1–9)
Star Jones (1997-2006, season 1–9)
Joy Behar (1997–2013, season 1–16)

Whoopi Goldberg (moderator, 2007, season 11–present)
Sherri Shepherd (2007, season 11–present)
