Celebrity Gossip Heard All Over The Web

Michael Vick Responds To Death Threats

We reported the other day that Michael Vick had to cancel his book signing tour because of death threats and now he’s speaking out on those threats. In a nutshell, Vick wants y’all haters to know that he hears ya but he isn’t phased by ya!

Vick is going to keep on trying to be a better person and he is committed to working with community service organizations (to better his image).

Vick’s rep told TMZ that Vick is not going to let haters control his life.

“Regardless of the past threats, he has millions of fans around the world and has been receiving countless messages of support. He will continue to keep an active schedule working with charities.”

Vick is actively working with the Team Freedom Outreach (recreation and visitation programs for youth detention centers) and the Veterans of Foreign Wars organization. And in case the haters decide to keep on keeping on, you will not succeed because apparently there are more security measures put into place to keep Vick safe. Police officers also will have a heads up wherever Vick decides to go visit.

Vick’s rep continued, “Mike is committed to helping make his community a better place and [he] is determined to continue his work with charity and helping others.”

Michael Vicks new memoir is titled “Michael Vick: Finally Free.” It’s set for release on July 27.

Well it certainly is good to know that Vick is trying to move from those dog fighting days. Unfortunately, it’s going to be a long time before people start seeing the good he is trying to do.

Michael Vick Cancels Book Tour Due to Death Threats

Welp, Michael Vick’s life just doesn’t seem to be getting easier, despite the years that passed since that dogfighting ring. The past keeps coming back to haunt the poor guy.

So he’s got this new book out called “Finally Free” and he’s been scheduled to sign copies of the book LIVE at Barnes and Noble stores in Atlanta, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Well, let’s just say peeps that aren’t fans know where to find him. And they want to kill him.

According to the book company’s website, the March 26 appearance set for Exton, Pa., was listed as canceled.

“While we stand by Michael Vick’s right to free speech and the retailers’ right to free commerce, we cannot knowingly put anyone in harm’s way, and therefore we must announce the cancellation of Mr. Vick’s book-signing appearances,” said Byron Williamson, president of Worthy Publishing, according to PhillyMag.com. “We’ve been assured these threats of violence, which have been reported to the police, are being taken very seriously by local authorities.”

Vick has tried to revamp his image since he got out of prison and back in the football game, but there are still peeps out there that want to get their hands on the guy.

Check out these death threats on Facebook that were REALLY posted:

“I would go there to slit your throat knowing how you treat animals.”
“hope your kids don’t fall in a pool with a battery.”
“I would snap your neck if I met you, your [sic] a piece of trash.”

Ouch. If I were this guy, I’d be scurred to be seen in public.

Charlie Sheen Accused of Death Threat!

The ever controversial Charlie Sheen is at it again! The actor allegedly threatened to shoot a man to death with a Super 90 semi-automatic shotgun , according to a police report filed with the LAPD!

A man who claims to be a former associate of Charlie’s, filed the report on October 18, claiming he’s deathly afraid that Charlie will murder him based on a text message the actor allegedly sent to a mutual friend. Apparently, the guy had a bad fight with Charlie recently, and found out that Charlie vented to a female friend in a text about him saying, “”I’ll blow his head off with my Super 90.”

The situation is still under investigation. A source that’s close to Charlie said, “The accuser is a dishonorably discharged military person with multiple probation violations who is trying to shake him down for money.”

Now, there is a chance that this guy is doing this to get a little check on the side. People make up stories to get money all the time. But we ALL know that Charlie Sheen is crazy. No borderline, no halfway. He’s just full on crazy! So I can definitely see him sending a text like that, and, if it’s true, naturally this dude would be a little scared! All the cops have to do is check this chick’s phone to see, though I don’t know how much a text message will hold up in court. But I’m nobody’s legal expert, so we’ll see!
