Celebrity Gossip Heard All Over The Web

CELEB SPOTTING: Beyoncé and Jay Z All Smiles at Basketball Game After Video of Elevator Incident Leaks

Talk about unbothered! Beyoncé and Jay Z were spotted courtside at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Monday night, not too long after video of Solange Knowles allegedly attacking Jay in an elevator was leaked!

The couple looked like they were having a good time as the Brooklyn Nets played Miami Heat, smiling and relaxed, as if they were completely oblivious to this video coming out.

As reported yesterday, TMZ obtained footage of Solange reported swinging and kicking at Jay Z in an elevator after an afterparty after the MET Gala last week. Since the video leaked, there have been all kinds of rumors floating as to what happened to get Miss Solange all riled up that way. I think she may have just been a little too drunk personally, and something tiny may have been blown up out of proportion when that liquor got into her!

The music couple is going on with their lives as usual, obviously keeping mum about the incident. Instead, they just announced that they will be adding on a few more dates for their On The Run tour this summer, adding on Los Angeles and San Francisco on August 2 and 5.

Jay-Z Has Been Busy

You could say Jay-Z has been a tad busy.

Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter’s Rocawear brand recently opened its flagship retail store in Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. In addition, the brand has opened five retail factory stores in Franklin Mills (Philadelphia, PA), Sugarloaf Mills (Lawrenceville, GA), Vacaville Premium Outlets (Vacaville, CA), Locust Grove Outlets (Locust Grove, GA) and Gilroy Premium Outlets (Gilroy, CA).

Opening the first free standing Rocawear store at The Barclays Center has special meaning to the Brooklyn born musician / entrepreneur. Jay-Z commented, “As a kid who grew up in Marcy Projects, it feels surreal to not only bring professional sports back to Brooklyn, but to have the first flagship Rocawear store at the Shops at Barclays is like the ultimate dream fulfilled.”

The Barclays Brooklyn store will offer customers new Rocawear product deliveries every three weeks, along with an exclusive “Brooklyn” capsule collection featuring merchandise inspired by the historic borough.

Earlier this year, Rocawear debuted its first ever television commercial, entitled “Marcy to Barclays” which told the story of Carter and Rocawear taking the world by storm. It depicted a younger Jay-Z selling CDs out of the trunk of his car, ending with Jay-Z performing to a sold out crowd at Barclays Center.
