Trace Cyrus Takes Ashland High On Tour

He’s baaaaack! Miley’s big bro is taking his eclectic sound and new music to stages nationwide!

Trace Cyrus will be showing us something a little bit different than what we are used to seeing from Ashland HIGH, with Trace on vocals along with a DJ and a light show. Trace is gearing up to perform songs both old and new, including tracks off his newest album, Drugstore Cowboy, which is available now for free download on AshlandHigh.com. “I am very excited to be hitting the road again this year for a full US tour! My new online album Drugstore Cowboy is finally out and I’m excited to perform my new songs as well as my older ones! I have known the Millionaires for years and it will be great to be on tour with friends. Come out to hear me perform your favorite Metro Station songs as well as hearing me perform brand new songs from Ashland HIGH!”

Since Ashland HIGH’s formation in 2010, Trace has taken his musical experience and put everything he knows into his band. Consisting of pop, dub step, R&B and rock, this project put Trace behind all aspects of the production where he wrote the lyrics and sings all vocals.

Growing up in the south in a town outside of Nashville, Tennessee Trace moved to California when he was 16 years old but will always consider TN his home. Hollywood is where he met his band, started playing shows, and by the age of 17 had a record deal and a chance to tour the world. Music and fashion were always his two true passions in life and Hollywood really gave him the opportunity to meet the right people and allow him to live out his dreams.

Trace Cyrus debuts Ashland HIGH’s Jealous Lover video

Trace Cyrus is now Ashland HIGH. Remember Metro Station? Yeah that band may be dunzo, but Cyrus isn’t quitting music for nobody.

Formed in 2010 Ashland HIGH is the name of the band from Trace Cyrus. Formerly of pop rock band Metro Station, Trace has taken his musical experience and put everything he knows into Ashland HIGH. Consisting of pop, dubstep, r&b and rock, this project put Trace behind all aspects of the production where he wrote the lyrics and sings all the vocals.

Wanting to give back to his fans for the support they have shown him through the years, Trace decided he wanted to give his entire album away for free download, which he did on New Years Eve. Already seeing over 30k downloads in 48 hours he knows it was the right decision. Simultaneously while giving away the album, he launched the video for the first single “Jealous Lover” which was shot in various locations around Venice Beach and we’ve got it here!
