Celebrity Gossip Heard All Over The Web

There’s A Reason For The Madness: Chris Brown Is Bi-Polar

There is a reason for all the cray cray-ness that spews out of Chris Brown on a whim. According to new court documents, Chris Brown has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, severe insomnia and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Well, this definitely explains a lot. Wow.

Brown was in court yesterday for a progress hearing and documents were filed by the facility where Brown just completed 95 days of anger management therapy.

The legal documents also indicated that Brown was self-medicating inappropriately. Um, ya think? The facility writes, “Mr. Brown became aggressive and acted out physically due to his untreated mental health disorder, severe sleep deprivation, inappropriate self-medicating and untreated PTSD.” The letter says Chris is now on meds for the bipolar and other conditions.

Let’s see if some meds help even his temper out.

According to the letter, Breezy has learned relaxation exercises to calm himself and he’s tested negative for drugs, including weed, since he’s been there. And apparently he’s doing really well, working hard and being complacent.

Well I hope that he is getting better for his own sake, for pete’s sake. He’s had a rough go of it.

  1. I bet his people are just using it as a PR-friendly excuse for all his terrible behavior.

  2. I’m sorry but this is all just excuses after excuses after excuses, he’s a jerk, and that’s that!

That makes a lot of sense now, yep. Glad he’s figured it out.

  4. and his mother didn’t figure this out sooner? I think he’s just an a___le.

  5. I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt, but we’ll see.

  6. How much did he pay who to come up with this bullsh*t diagnosis?

  7. There’s no excuse for being violent and abusive.

  8. Lets see how long it will last.

On the one hand, mental illness is a terrible, awful disease. On the other there is always some skepticism when it comes to claims by PR and Stars. Although, if he is sick, I hope he gets better.

  10. I don’t know, see I am bipolar and so is 3 others in my family. I’ve been off meds and even tho I get so much change in moods fast, I never resulted in doing things such as that. However, its possible because I end up taking my anger at things around me, usually I try to avoid people and take it out at non living things. Unfortunately my mom she’ll take it out at me because I live with her some times in away of throwing things or just yelling at anything. So many different moods and feelings. I guess it could be possible, but mainly I don’t think it should all be because of bipolar depression.

  11. I have been hearing that bi-polar stuff and I guess i need to study further about it. I really see an issue of this that would affect my life

  12. I don’t know why but all celebs find this excuse when they hit rock bottom. It might be true but seriously, he’s been dealing with these issues for so long and he’s diagnosed now, when he’s in deep troubles?

  13. I think there is really no excuse for excessive behavior issues. I do get that people can have a problem in this area. My husband is on anti-depressants, so I get it. But I hate when people don’t take responsibility for their behavior.

  14. oh really. if being bipolar allows people to do bad then imagine what would this world become, then there should be place to put bipolar people so they can’t hard anybody

  15. This use of the “bi-polar” disorder diagnosis is offensive to those that have truly struggled with it and to find out what was going on in their lives.
