Celebrity Gossip Heard All Over The Web

WATCH: Beyoncé and Jay Z Kick Off On The Run Tour in Miami!

Power couple Beyoncé and Jay Z kicked off their On The Run Tour just last night at Miami’s Sun Life Stadium, and the Internet is going crazy! The Carters performed a 40-song set list (YES FORTY!)of some of their greatest hits, including collaborations with each other, like “’03 Bonnie and Clyde,” “Upgrade You,” and the latest, “Part II (On The Run).”

The couple also got personal, sharing private home videos for their fans of their secret wedding back in April 2008 as well as time spent with daughter Blue Ivy during a performance of “Forever Young” and “Halo.” Fans saw Bey’s beautiful white wedding gown and veil, as well as Jay looking rather nice in a tuxedo. The Carters also showed them getting their famous “IV” tattoos on their wedding ring fingers before the ceremony (the number four is a very significant number to them, representing Beyonce’s birthday on September 4, Jay Z’s birthday on December 4, and their wedding date, April 4), as well as the moment when Jay officially put a ring on it!

Blue Ivy was, of course, also featured, as their parents performed. “There were videos of Blue in the pool with her mom, walking holding hands with her parents, Jay Z kissing Blue,” an audience member said to Us Weekly. “It was a sweet moment — Jay Z and Beyoncé were both facing the screen watching the Blue videos while they sang ‘Halo.’ It was like they were singing the song to their baby girl. The two of them were beaming, smiling watching their little girl on the screen.” Check out some of Blue below!

The 16-date tour continues on June 28, hitting Cincinnati, OH next, and will continue on throughout July and the first week of August, before culminating in Paris on September 12 and 13.

This is going to be an AMAZING tour!

Ariana Grande Releases ’60s Mod-Style “Problem” Video

“I got one less problem without you!” Ariana Grande has officially dropped the music video for her hit song, “Problem,” featuring Aussie rapper Iggy Azalea.

Drawing inspiration from the ’60s, the video features Ariana and her go-go dancers rocking out in front spinning backdrops, pulling out dance moves and outfits from the era. Even Iggy sported big, hair-sprayed, bouffant hair, giving ’60s mod-style. Even rapper Big Sean makes a small cameo in the retro visual, singing a part of the hook (maybe subliminally talking about his split from Naya Rivera???).

“Problem,” produced by Max Martin, is the first single from Ariana’s upcoming sophomore album, which is at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. No details yet on what her new album has to offer, but with a hit like this, I’m sure it will be awesome!

Eminem Reconnects With Mother Debbie in ‘Highlights’ Music Video

What a happy Mother’s Day indeed! Eminem officially reunited with his estranged mother Debbie Mathers in the new music video to his single “Headlights,” putting aside their long-lasting feud.

The rapper often ranted terribly about his mom in past songs, speaking out about their issues. However, he used “Headlights” to apologize to Debbie, and acknowledge the role that he played in their disagreements. “Never thinking about who what I said hurt, in what verse / My mom probably got it the worst / The brunt of it, but as stubborn as we are / Did I take it too far?” Eminem delivers on the track. “‘Cleaning Out My Closet’ and all them other songs / But regardless I don’t hate you ’cause, Ma, / You’re still beautiful to me, ’cause you’re my mom.”

The video premiered yesterday, Sunday May 11, right on Mother’s Day! Directed by Spike Lee, the video also featured Fun‘s Nate Ruess on the melody. It was told from Debbie’s point of view, as she looks back on Emimen’s childhood, as well as her drug and alcohol use, and denied attempts to reconnect with her son. The end of the video was the most beautiful part, as she and Eminem hugged it out before going off separately.

Check out the reconciliation below!

Eminem has had issues with his mom for quite some time, so this reunion was definitely beautiful to see. It was long over due too. At the end of the day, they are mother and son. It was very nice to see them reunite and put aside their anger and issues. Life’s too short not to. Kudos to them!

Jennifer Hudson Spices Things Up in “I Can’t Describe” Music Video!

Jennifer Hudson has officially released her music video for her newest single, “I Can’t Describe (The Way I Feel)!” The song, which features rapper T.I., has become quite a hit for her!

This is definitely Jennifer’s sexiest video yet! In the video, she confidently flaunts her body and really struts her stuff, and kills it (Weight Watchers has helped her lose the weight and keep it off!). I’m liking her pixie cut more and more too! Check out “I Can’t Describe” below!

“I Can’t Describe” is the precursor to her third album, which is supposedly coming out some time in the spring. “Some of the songs have a nice old school swag to them, but I think people will be very pleasantly surprised with this album ’cause it’s about the mood and the groove and real music,” she told Yahoo! Music of her new project. Jennifer has been in the studio with TimbalandPharrell, and R. Kelly, so it should be a good album!

Pharrell Williams Debuts “Happy”—The World’s First 24-Hour Music Video

rs_634x1024-131010145325-634.Pharrell-Williams-Helen-Lasichanh.ms.101013

Pharrell is on a ROLL, y’all!

Pharrell Williams, ICONOCLAST and i am OTHER Entertainment announced today the release of “Happy,” both the official music video and the world’s first 24-hour music video. The song is prominently featured in Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment’s blockbuster Despicable Me 2 and on the film’s soundtrack.

The video clip was directed by the creative duo We Are From L.A. and was filmed entirely on Steady Cam, requiring the crew to walk nearly eight miles per day over the course of 11 days. The production took place in Los Angeles and more than 400 hundred extras—including many celebrities—appear in the video.

A maverick concept, the 24-hour video is the first of its kind. Viewers may visit 24hoursofhappy.com, where they are automatically taken to the point in the video that the time on their computer reflects. At the top of every hour, Williams performs for the duration of the song, and he appears 24 times in the video. Directly following his performance every hour, 14 unique cameos play in four-minute intervals. Users can watch the video in real time or skip to a different time of the day and share favorite moments on Twitter and Facebook.

In Despicable Me 2, “Happy” is heard during a pivotal moment in the storyline, and he wanted to re-create that feeling with his music video. “Gru, the lead character who’s no longer a villain, has fallen in love and feels so much joy he literally dances through the streets,” said Williams. “That kind of happiness is so infectious; you can’t help but smile.” Williams calls the song his best work to date.

The clip features celebrity appearances including two of the film’s stars, Steve Carell and Miranda Cosgrove; as well as Jamie Foxx; Tyler, The Creator and Earl Sweatshirt from Odd Future; Jimmy Kimmel; Magic Johnson; Kelly Osbourne; Sérgio Mendes; Ana Ortiz; Issa Rae; and Bevy Smith, among others.

THE PRETTY RECKLESS Premiere Official Music Video For ‘Going to Hell’

pretty-reckless

As Taylor Momsen and her chaos-loving, hard-hitting rock band THE PRETTY RECKLESS continue to steamroll through the U.S. and Canada on their current headlining tour (full tour itinerary below), they’ve premiered the official video “Going To Hell” today (10/16) on VEVO.com. The clip was directed by Tim Mattia (Marilyn Manson Cage, The Elephant, Young Guns) The song is the title track from their highly anticipated sophomore full-length album out early 2014 on Razor & Tie.

“The new video for ‘Going to Hell’ captures the right look for the sound of the band,” says MOMSEN. It’s a subtle blast of sins and rock and roll meant to be watched over and over until the real meaning of the song sinks in. We’re psyched for it to come out and for the fans to see it.”

So far THE PRETTY RECKLESS has previewed three songs off GOING TO HELL on their website Goingtohell.me/hell/ that was launched with a haunting album trailer, followed by the lyric video for the bracing “Follow Me Down” and a teaser for “Burn.” The latter song shows another side of the hard rocking band. Against a lone acoustic guitar, MOMSEN vocally digs deep into her lyrics about a dark, fractured relationship.

THE PRETTY RECKLESS formed in 2009 and released their debut album LIGHT ME UP in 2010 and a follow- up EP HIT ME LIKE A MAN in 2012. After two years on the road supporting LIGHT ME UP, the band has risen through rock ‘n’ roll’s ranks to become a polarizing presence. Over the course of their debut and EP, the quartet has sold over 1 million combined albums and digital tracks and have supported Evanescence, Guns N’ Roses and Marilyn Manson on tour in addition to headline runs in both the U.S. and abroad. Now, MOMSEN and her bandmates are delivering nothing short of killer performances on their current “Going To Hell Tour” with a set list including new material off GOING TO HELL and the group’s debut LP LIGHT ME UP.
