Nick Jonas on His Imitation Kim Kardashian Photo

Meredith Vieira recently interviewed Nick Jonas and one of the topics was that image he posted of his head on Kim Kardashian’s body. Yes, on THAT cover. Apparently it wasn’t his idea. It was his brother Joe’s.

Nick said, “That was his idea. We were out in the city the other night and obviously it was the day Kim’s shoot came out and he pulled it up on his phone and said, ‘Oh my God someone just sent me this.’ And I said you have to post that right now,you have no choice and he did and I think it’s one of his most liked pictures on Instagram now.”

Meredith responded with, “But you were all in obviously.”

Nick said, “I mean you’ve got to go all the way if you’re going to do it, go full Kim here.”

And in case you were wondering, Nick IS a booty man. “Yeah, Why not? It’s beautiful.”

Well I must admit, Nick isn’t so bad either.

Charli XCX Gives Fierce Face On Cover of Seventeen

On newsstands on November 25th!

Who knew Charli XCX could give good face?! Well she does on the cover of Seventeen magazine. She gives a pretty fun interview too. Check out the highlights below.

Via Seventeen magazine:

Charli XCX on what her plans are for her music career:
“I’m going to build an empire. I’m always writing for someone else. I want to be someone who has her fingerprints all over the pop charts.”

On what it means to be ‘cool’:
“When you’re growing up I think there’s this idea that the coolest people are the ones who are really rude and feverish. But I’ve come to realize that isn’t cool. I think the best people are the ones who are just as nice and fun. This is really cheesy, but you only have one life – why spend most of it pretending to be cool?”

On how she defines her style:
“I don’t make punk music—I make pop that’s inspired by elements of punk. For me, as a person, am I punk? In the sense that I do what I want and I enjoy going against the norm, I suppose I am.”

She got her start when club promoters heard her first song, Dinosaur Sex and she started performing at raves:
“My parents knew and would actually come with me. So it was like a weird attempt at rebellion that turned into a family outing. But these were like real, full-on raves and there were lots of drugs and stuff. My mum was kind of freaking out, but they would stand at the back and watch me perform from afar. It was kind of strange, but also cool that they wanted to be a part of it and they were looking out for me.”

Is Nick Cannon Ready to Date?

When it comes down to his split with his wife, Mariah Carey, Nick Cannon is really mostly worried about his children, Moroccan and Monroe.

At the same time, though, he knows they’re too young to understand that their parents are going through a divorce.

“They just love mommy and daddy so there is nothing different for them,” he told Wonderwall.com.

The “America’s Got Talent” host said he’s simply focusing on work, rather than his divorce, but he’s aware that his personal stock is high right now.

“There are a lot of people after me right now. I gotta slow it down,” he said while deejaying a party at Las Vegas” 1 OAK. “I’m trying to slow it down and stay focused. Family is the first thing and my kids, obviously the dating thing will come down the line.”
And though he’s on the market again, he really hasn’t thought about dating. Right now, he’s all about family and career.

“I think I’m busier than I’ve ever been in my life,” he said. “I love it. You gotta keep cooking while the fire is hot.”

Britney Spears Confirms Relationship with Charlie Ebersol

Welp, that sure didn’t take long! She’s onto the next one.

Via Extra:

Britney Spears is officially back off the market! “Yes, there is a special someone” she exclusively told “Extra” special correspondent Pauly D as she received the key to the Las Vegas Strip on November 5th, which was declared “Britney Day” in Sin City.

When pressed for further details about her relationship with Charlie Ebersol, son of SNL co-founder Dick Ebersol, Spears added “It’s very new.”

Though Britney’s been headlining her “Piece of Me” show at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas for almost a year, she admits she still gets nervous when other celebrities are in attendance “I think Jennifer Lopez came to one of the shows a couple of weeks ago and I was extremely nervous.”

Lopez rumored to be headlining with her own residency at Planet Hollywood during Britney’s “off” weeks, Spears offering this advice to Jlo, “I would say it’s an ideal situation to be here in Vegas and have a show. It’s like, a breath of fresh air, it’s like a dream come true for me seriously. I’m in one location, I get to go back and forth. It’s amazing and it’s good for the kids, too.”

Britney just invited Kathy Griffin on stage for the “Freakshow” segment of her concert, where she walked the comedian like a dog and spanked her! “It was really fun having a girl up there do it for once.” Spears adding “She was like, going and throwing her hair and just going crazy it was really fun.”

Her 2000 album “Oops!…I Did It Again’s” feat was nearly beaten by Taylor Swift’s “1989” this week. Of the record, Britney said “I had no idea that that was even the case so that’s really cool. It’s really phenomenal. I’ll just have to toot my own horn.”

Pharrell Williams Loves Black Women, Hates Race Issues

Via Ebony:

Pharrell Williams gives one of his most provocative interviews on topics ranging from women to racism, in the November issue of EBONY magazine.

In honor of the annual Men’s issue, the producer and co-judge on the NBC hit series, The Voice, speaks candidly about how the tragic death of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo. impacted him as a Black man, husband and father. Williams’ shares:

“I don’t talk about race since it takes a very open mind to hear my view, because my view is the sky view. But I’m very troubled by what happened in Ferguson, Mo.”

“When things like that happen, we need to be a united cell. We need connective tissue to be linked by spirit and spirituality.”

“For every individual who gets killed, someone should build a school or teach a child. We really need to balance things with positivity”

Williams also hits on personal controversy. The Virginia native addresses the rumors surrounding his bias against Black women, which sparked when the cover for his latest album, Girl, showcased only non-Black females.

“I love Black women,” says Williams. “If you don’t think I love Black women, then you don’t understand me.” He continues to add, “I have obsessed over Black women since the days of Jayne Kennedy, Beverly Peele and Roshumba Williams. Those are the women I daydreamed about growing up.”

The issue also explores several other profound, discussion-worthy topics. EBONY magazine’s special report, “Dirty Little Secret,” features a riveting expose on the sex trafficking industry, how it affects young Black girls, and how readers can get involved as chronicled in the last installment of the Saving Our Girls series.

“You’re being raped, you’re being beaten and you’ve been kidnapped,” said Keisha Head as she shares her story with at-risk girls and those who have been trafficked. “Every night, a different horrific thing is happening and you’re escaping with your life,” she added. Head now works with organizations such as youthSpark, which seeks to end sex trafficking.

Additional features include a “men’s only” roundtable on relationships and intimacy; EBONY magazine’s Men Who Lead series, which highlights successful men who are small business owners; and EBONY magazine’s 20 biggest moments in sports. EBONY also offers an array of life skill articles on how to plan for family and friends as they visit for the holidays.

For more, readers can find the November issue of EBONY on newsstands October 14th.

Rapper T.I. Talks Sex On The Beach, Fatherhood And Marriage

Rapper T.I. may get down and dirty on the mic with collaborators like Nelly, 2 Chainz, and Eminem, but, as Mickey Rapkin learns in the November issue of ELLE, the unexpected family man is really all about the love. Mickey Rapkin chats with Rapper T.I. about sex on the beach, fatherhood, marriage, and much more in this month’s Cherchez La Femme.

Via Elle:

T.I. on his definition of “mediocre ho” in the song “No Mediocre”:
“Sometimes it’s a fashion thing. Sometimes it’s the attitude thing. I think women are born on a pedestal, and the only thing that can remove them is a lack of respect for themselves.”

T.I. on sex on the beach which he raps about in the song “No Mediocre”:
“I’ve had sex on a beach. Not exactly in Bermuda. It was more of a metaphor…You gotta have your utensils together, you know what I’m saying? A towel, a blanket—come prepared for the elements. It’s the kind of thing you do once, say you’ve done it, and then say, “Okay, okay, it’s enough. Let’s go somewhere else.”

T.I. on the hardest part about having teenage daughters:
“Knowing when to allow a little room for maturing and when to step in and put your foot down and discipline.”

T.I. on his time in prison and the lesson he learned from it about women and relationships:
“I saw so many guys worrying about their women and what they’re doing and all that shit. They end up making their time so much harder on themselves. You don’t know where they’re at, so there’s no use worrying yourself about it.”

To read the full Q&A with T.I., head over to ELLE.com here or check it out on the digital newsstand, and at newsstands nationwide on October 21st.

Ed Sheeran Compares Love To Cheesecake

Ed Sheeran is one of our favorite redheads. He doesn’t only write amazing love songs – he gives the best love advice too. Before embarking on his worldwide arena tour, Ed took a break to share his top tips to finding a perfect match.

Via Seventeen:

Ed Sheeran on how love is like cheesecake:
“Sometimes I wish I could go back and give my 17-year-old self love advice. I’d tell myself: ‘Ease into things slowly.’ If you have a piece of cheesecake, you don’t want to scarf it all down at once; you want to enjoy it. The same goes for love – don’t rush. Take time to figure out what you need in a relationship.”

It’s okay to be a little freaked out!
“I call this scared love. It sounds bad, but it’s not. I think we all get into situations where we’re terrified about letting ourselves fall in love because we don’t want to get hurt. But when you’re already friends and trust that person, that nervous feeling in the pit of your stomach is healthy. It means that there is something there – a deeper connection – that might be worth it. You just have to let yourself make the fall.”

Sheeran on the importance of being yourself:
“Quirks might seem weird when you’re young, but they make you stand out when you’re older and that’s an important thing.”
